The house is impeccable and loaded with everything you need for a home away from home. It sleeps eight comfortably and the master suite is situated on the opposite side of the house from the guest rooms. Every room has a ceiling fan including two in the outdoor lanai. The beds and new bedding are pristine. Each bedroom has a flat-screen TV. The space is well laid out for privacy as well as entertaining and can handle a large family. It has a well-appointed granite-counter kitchen along with a summer kitchen outdoor in the lanai. There is also a Weber barbeque for grilling in the backyard.
Bring the outside in! The sliders off the dining area open up completely as do the sliders off the master suite and living room area. Enjoy swimming in the large, heated pool in privacy. The Adirondack furniture on the dock is a great place to have your morning coffee as well as cocktails in the evening as you watch the sun go down over the palm trees across the canal. The pool and dock face westward so you will experience beautiful sunsets.
There is something to do for everyone on Marco Island. Beaches are beautiful…some evening bring the comfy Tommy Bahama beach chairs and go to South Beach for Sunset -- the kids will love it. It is a five-minute walk to the #1 rated (TripAdvisor) restaurant, Fin Bistro, or you can enjoy Joey’s Pizza or NeNe’s for a great breakfast. Ten minutes away at the Esplanade you have Starbucks, Rick’s Island Spa, CJ’s for lunch as well as Mango’s which is totally awesome. The view overlooking the marina is a treat. And don’t forget bike to the Farmer’s Market in season (Nov-Apr) .
The first 3 reviews have covered most everything that is wonderful about this
property on Century Drive. We have vacationed in this house for 4 years. The neighbors are lovely and it is such a beautiful street. This February has been the best yet and the new owners are wonderful people to work with. They have a true interest in making sure you enjoy your stay. Basically, it is just my husband and I, but our kids and grandchildren visit during school vacation week. The house is very accommodating as it sleeps 8 comfortably and the master suite is situated on the opposite side of the house from the guest rooms. It has a well appointed kitchen along with a summer kitchen out on the lanai. The sliders off the dining area open up completely as do the sliders off the master suite and living room area. Bring the outside in! Since we take our boat with us we love the boat lift as well as the dock itself. The new Adirondack furniture is a wonderful addition and a great place to have your morning coffee as well as cocktails in the evening as you watch the sun go down over the Palm trees across the canal. The view while laying on your float in the pool is awesome and in total privacy. The pool temp is definitely a plus…you never want to get out. There is something to do for everyone on Marco Island. Beaches are beautiful…some evening bring the comfy Tommy Bahama beach chairs that the owners provide and go to South Beach for Sunset, even the kids will love it. The best things in life are free! You can bike or walk everywhere. Ten minutes away at the Esplanade you have Starbucks, Rick’s Island Spa, CJ’s for lunch as well as Mango’s which is totally awesome. The view overlooking the marina is a treat. You have to also go to the Farmer’s Market on a Wednesday. The only thing, you have to go when it opens as it has gotten extremely popular and gets very crowded. Best to bike as parking is at a premium. I hope I beat you all to our next booking!!!!! Hopefully, you will find this review helpful.
What a beautiful quiet street on the water! I always think the location of the vacation home is as important as the home itself, and here we had BOTH! As a parent raising 5 children vacation should be just that, vacation! If I have to worry about my children on a busy street or in an unsafe area then that's not a vacation. At this home, we enjoyed quality family time, salt air and never heard the beep of a horn. We were equally pleased with the impeccable decor of this home along with the amenities it offered. We cooked several times and found the kitchens (yes one inside and one in the lanai next to the the indoor pool!) and the Weber grill had every thing we needed and was nice quality. The beds and bedding were pristine. The space is well laid out for privacy as well as entertaining and can handle a large family. Outside we enjoyed lunch and evening drinks on the deck overlooking the wide-water canal and the beautiful homes and boats around us. The garage was stocked with a slew of new beach bikes which we used everyday rather than the car. Again location is key! We literally walked and/or biked everywhere, including to the beaches, fantastic restaurants and shopping! There was never a lack of things to do. I can't wait to stay here again!
My husband and I recently vacationed in Marco Island and we loved this house! It is a perfect location for biking or walking to the beach and restaurants. We were so happy to have bikes available to us to explore beautiful Marco Island. The house is bright, clean and loaded with everything you need for a home away from home. The pool was kept at such a comfortable temperature we were able to swim in the evening after enjoying dinner on the dock! The beautiful landscaping afforded us privacy while swimming and lounging in the lanai. We look forward to returning with our children for a fun family vacation!
My wife and I had a wonderful experience vacationing at the property on Century Drive in Marco Island. For our first time to Marco Island, we found that this property is located in an ideal spot for getting to know the island. Once we arrived at the property, we discovered that the property owners provide a variety of beach bicycles. Once we discovered these, we rarely used the car. The property is located within a short bike ride to the beach, shopping, and many fine eateries as well as scenic rides through the Marco Island canal system. As for the property itself, the amenities are endless. The screened in pool area is where we spent our mornings enjoying breakfast under the comfort of two ceiling fans. The heated pool was everything we thought it would be. The evenings were spent having cocktails on the dock enjoying the nighttime breeze. The house itself is well suited for families as well as multiple couples. It is obvious that the property owners take pride in how they present the house to their customers. My wife and I are already contemplating sharing this experience again with some of our closest friends.
