Beautiful 3 Bedroom, 3 Terrace, Private Pool Penthouse With Luscious Ocean Views

The Property:

White Sands Beach Villas is your home away from home; low-density condominium building which lies directly on a beautifully cozy, white sandy beach. The sand literally leans against the southern wall. We are located in the quieter, eastern side of St. Lawrence Gap where restaurants, bars, shops, nightclubs, water-sports, cafes and more are all within 15 minutes walk. Directly across the street is a convenience store (Dover Market), which is open 7 days a week.

Penthouse information:

Villa V has over 3000 sqft of living space with beautiful travertine floors, 3 terraces, 3 full en-suite bathrooms, a powder room, a plunge pool on the southern terrace, a large shower with wall jets in the master bedroom, a full kitchen (including dishwasher) with stainless steel appliances, cable television with a wide selection of channels, high-speed wireless internet and a lovely speaker system throughout the entire penthouse with an iPod dock. The apartment is air-conditioned right through including living areas. The master bedroom has a king bed, the 2nd bedroom a queen bed and the 3rd bedroom has twin beds.

My family just returned from a stay at White Sands Beach Condos in Barbados. The accommodations (one of the 3-bedroom penthouses) and grounds were lovely, and we cannot say enough positive things about Cyrus. He was truly exceptional--friendly, responsive, and just a pleasure to deal with. The condo had 3 1/2 baths (one for each bedroom, plus a powder room in the foyer), and the amenities were excellent--including free wifi. (One note: the laundry in the condo was a combined washer/dryer (not separate machines), and the dryer cycle didn't work very well.) The penthouse had its own small deck pool overlooking the ocean, with decks on two sides. We could easily walk to the restaurants and stores in St. Lawrence Gap, although the larger supermarkets are a short (5-10 minute) drive away. The wide beach was also great--clean, fine, white sand, with decent waves, although slightly rocky. You can wade through a short, shallow gap to the adjacent, large Dover Beach. My husband and older son were able to use (for a fee) the tennis courts at the Turtle Beach resort a short walk from the condo, and my younger son and I drove to the well-equipped fitness center (Bodycare4u) in the Sheraton shopping plaza (about a 15-minute drive); the weekly rate there was $40 (US) per person. All-in-all a very relaxing trip!

We could not have been happier with the accommodations, nor could the location by St. Lawrence Gap have been any more convenient. The private rooftop pool was a lovely plus. Magnificent view.

St. Lawrence Gap is the hub for the club scene in Barbados. It is also a centralized location full of restaurants of many different cuisines. All within walking distance, you have: Italian cuisine, Mexican, Grill, Seafood, Brazilian, Local, Indian, Bistro dining and on-the-hand fish and chips and burgers, and more.

There are shops, bars, cafes, nice beaches and water-sports activities. St. Lawrence Gap and the eastern end of Dover are the perfect places to enjoy a balanced vacation of relaxation, comfort and activities.
