Funky and rustic flea market chic. A one-of-a-kind, unique beer-themed hideaway in the woods of Pennsylvania.

Come and enjoy a peaceful and private stay-cation in the beautiful Conewago Mountains of south-central Pennsylvania. Brewhouse Mountain has been featured in many magazines and television shows, including FHM, Playboy Magazine, the History Channel, the Travel Channel and the Home and Garden Channel. We are centrally located near many of the region's top attractions.

Looking for a truly unique experience in beautiful south-central Pennsylvania? A nature-lovers paradise awaits you at Brewhouse Mountain. Located on four acres of mixed hardwood forest in the Conewago Mountains, Brewhouse Mountain has a friendly, romantic, eccentric yet laid-back atmosphere in a relaxed, natural setting where you can really get away from it all. Oaks, hemlocks, beeches, poplars, ferns, hostas, rhododendron, azaleas, raspberries, blueberries and perennial flowers abound in our woodland setting. Your host, Jeff Lebo, has been a collector of antique and vintage brewery advertising for more than forty years. Nearly every inch of wall space is filled with vintage beer cans from around the world, antique bottles, lithographs, neons, porcelain signs and every imaginable type of breweriana from days gone by. The collection is the largest of its kind in the world.

Stroll through our grounds, curl up with a book, gather around the fire pit, enjoy our free DSL WiFi, cook up your next culinary masterpiece on our outdoor grill or sip an ice-cold drink on the porch. Listen to the symphony of nature; pileated woodpeckers, hawks, songbirds, cicadas, tree frogs and owls. In the winter, warm yourself in front of the wood stove in our cozy, rustic lounge. We're just one hour north of Baltimore, 1 1/2 hours west of Philadelphia, and 3 hours southwest of New York City. We are located midway between Harrisburg and York, just one mile from Interstate 83 and seven miles south of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Route 76).

We offer four private bedrooms, each with a very comfortable queen size bed, and one shared room with a very comfortable double bed. Window air conditioning units are installed in the summer months for your comfort. Included in your rental is the use of our facilities: two bathrooms (one upstairs, one downstairs, each with a toilet, tub and shower), a large (16' x 50') upstairs lounge with board games, sofas and chairs, bar area and tv/dvd, a large (18' x 36') downstairs common room with a small library, four sofas, wood stove and dining table that seats ten, and a large kitchen with a table that seats six, refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven and dishwasher. Outside we have a side porch with a glider and rocking chair, as well as a patio with a gas grill and dining table. Our gardens and lawn area are appointed with a fire pit and outdoor bar as well as horseshoe pits. We use green, eco-friendly and locally-made products in our facility. There is plenty of free parking. Need a place for your event? Our upstairs lounge can accommodate groups of up to twenty-five people.

There are lots of things to do here! We are conveniently located just minutes from many of the area's top attractions:

We are just twelve minutes from Roundtop Mountain Resort where you'll enjoy great skiing and snowboarding in the winter. In the summer, the adventure continues, with ziplines, OGO balls, chairlift rides, bumper boats, the canopy crawl, paintball and more. Roundtop boasts the best variety of ziplines in the mid-Atlantic region.

We're also just ten minutes from the beautiful Gifford Pinchot State Park, with miles of trails for bird watching and hiking, and a large lake for fishing, swimming, canoeing and kayaking.

Speaking of fishing, canoeing and kayaking, we are within fifteen minutes of five amazingly beautiful waterways: the Susquehanna River, Conewago Creek, Yellow Breeches Creek, Bennett Run and the Conodoguinet Creek. For the truly adventurous paddler, many other rivers and streams are nearby, including the incredible Muddy Creek Gorge, Swatara Creek, Bermudian Creek, Juniata River, Donegal Creek, Chickies Creek, Sherman Creek, Tuscarora Creek, Pequea Creek, Conestoga Creek, Mill Creek and Codorus Creek. On the Susquehanna River, just five minutes away, paddlers can explore many of the islands which were once inhabited by the Susquehannock Indians including Little Stony Island, Sassafras Island, Hill Island, Poplar Island, Henry Island, Goosehorn Island, Kohr Island, Beech Island, Shelley Island and Bashore Island. The largest blue heron and snowy egret rookery on the Susquehanna is also nearby. Here you can often see thousands of nesting blue herons, egrets, green herons and cormorants.

Recreational boaters, water skiers and jet-skiers will be happy to know that the marina and boat ramp at Goldsboro is just eight minutes away. We are also close to the world-famous Appalachian Trail, for those looking to get off the beaten path. Mountain bikers and cyclists will love our nearby rail-trails and scenic, back-country roads. For golfers, Valley Green Golf Course, an 18-hole public golf course, is just five minutes away. There are also several other public golf courses within a fifteen minute radius.

For motor sports fans, the BAPS Motor Speedway is just two miles away. BAPS operates mostly in the summer months and depending on the wind, it can be quite loud here at Brewhouse Mountain. You may want to check their racing schedule before booking. There is also a Saturday and Sunday morning flea market and farmers market across the road from BAPS.

We are just fifteen minutes from the city of York, which was the country's first capital. York also has good restaurants, craft brewpubs and a charming farmers market, which is open Thursdays and Saturdays. We're also just twelve minutes from Pennsylvania's capital city of Harrisburg, with wonderful nightlife, live music, a variety of great restaurants, craft brewpubs, its famous Capital rotunda and its world class Civil War Museum. Don't forget the dive bar tour of York Haven, as well as tours of local wineries.

We're just thirty minutes to Hershey and Hersheypark, thirty minutes to Carlisle with its famous auto show, forty minutes to Lancaster County's Pennsylvania Dutch and Amish country, and forty minutes to the Gettysburg Civil War Battlefield. Additional nearby attractions include Indian Echo Caverns, Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts, Lake Tobias Wildlife Park, Dutch Wonderland, Sight and Sound and the Pride of the Susquehanna Riverboat and City Island. Also, the Brewhouse Mountain Craft Beer Trail is a listing of more than forty craft breweries in the area. We recommend taking a designated driver for your adventure.

More information on the area, local attractions, restaurant tips and more are available on the Brewhouse Mountain website.

The Brewhouse Mountain Eco-Inn truly offers something for everyone. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Magic on the Mountain
Such a magical treasury of brew history. This Girls’ trip accommodation will always be remembered. We had such fun taking in all of the details of Jeff’s amazing collection. One member of my posse awoke later than usual and said “this is the best I’ve slept in ages” ….must be the magic of Brewhouse Mountain. Don’t forget to do the scavenger hunt. Keep sharing your gem of a home Jeff! Thanks for the memories. - The Posse

A place worth remembering!!!
What an awesome place to stop for the weekend; an experience was certainly well worth the trip. Excellent communication with the host and one of the most pleasant bookings I’ve had on home rentals. The added personal welcoming message on the door was a remarkable touch. Thank you for the hospitality, the group enjoyed the history while admiring the extraordinary library of books on hand.

A lot of fun! Clean! Unique!
The owners did a wonderful job making this house feel like home. They were very accomodating and helpful during our stay. The house was clean, and there was ample room for all. One is never at a loss for seeing something new, no matter how long your stay will be. It is evident that this house was built out of love and passion. During our stay, we commented that it was so nice being disconnected from the 'outside' interferences (internet and cable) and allowed us all to get needed rest, and provided us with an opportunity to reconnect with the great pasttime of 'conversation.' Jeff and his wife were very kind and accomodating. We definitely recommend this house.

About the host

Hosted by Jeff Lebo

Host profile image
Hello,

My name is Jeff Lebo. My wife Lauri and I love to travel and to meet new friends. We hope you will make Brewhouse Mountain your home away from home when you visit beautiful south-central Pennsylvania.

Why they chose this property

I believe south-central Pennsylvania is one of the most beautiful and welcoming places that I have been.

What makes this property unique

This is a very private place in the woods, but also so close to many attractions in the area. Harrisburg, Pennsylvania's state capital, is only 12 minutes away. York, America's first capital, is only 15 min. away. The natural beauty of the surrounding Conewago mountains is a highlight. Kayaking on some of the nearby lakes, creeks and rivers is wonderful.
