Overview

About the property

1 Bedroom, 1 Bath Cabin With Mountain Views, Nestled In Pine Trees.

1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin on 1.1 acres that is close to town, yet has that out of town feel. The cabin is 440 square feet and has all the amenities you need. A full kitchen, shower and bath and a queen bed in the bedroom make this cozy cabin comfortable. The two love seats in the living area both fold out into individual twin beds. Fawn ridge cabin also has a fireplace and outdoor decks to enjoy the fresh mountain air.

The Cabin is a great alternative to a hotel or condo, where you have your own place on 1.1 acres and are in the midst of the pine trees. Downtown Ruidoso is approx 4 miles away and the ski slopes (Ski Apache) is about 15 miles away. There are many restaurants within 2-3 miles as well. There is a very nice deck to sit on and relax and use the grill (charcoal) to make your favorite meals. There is also nice wildlife watching, from the bird feeder just feet from the deck to watching the deer walk through the property.

Come enjoy the Fawn Ridge Cabin!

About owner/manager

We bought Fawn Ridge Cabin in 2013. We love Ruidoso and ended up falling in love with the cabin. It has been remodeled and is super cute. We live in Liberty Hill, Texas and travel to Ruidoso every chance we get!

owner/manager purchased this cabin in 2013

Why owner/manager chose Ruidoso

We wanted a cabin that wasn't in town and wasn't a condo. Every time we rented in Ruidoso, it seemed that is what we ended up with (in our price range). When we first looked at the cabin, we fell in love. We can't live here full time, so we thought we would rent it and let others enjoy it's beauty as well.

What makes this cabin unique

The cabin is on 1.1 acres and has Pine trees surrounding it. We walked to the top of the property and found the beautiful view of the Sierra Blanca mountain range. As we were enjoy the beauty, the wind was blowing and the fresh pine was just amazing.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Thanks so much for letting us share your beautiful cabin. We really enjoyed our stay. We did most of our cooking at the cabin but we also ate at Farley's and The Log Cabin. Both were very good. We hope to visit again soon.

Very cozy

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for our mini honeymoon, and it was AMAZING! Small cozy cabin, the porches were both great with spectacular views! We enjoyed the hot tub both nights, star gazing made it great for a romantic evening! Would definitely stay again or recommend highly to anyone else looking for a similar getaway!

What a pleasure!!!

Truly enjoyed our time there. Big enough to enjoy, small enough to be quaint and cozy.

Cute little cabin with a hot tub and gazebo

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful spot. Deer were abundant. It was too windy to enjoy the hot tub and gazebo but I will definitely come back again!

Awesome place!

  • 5 of 5

Loved the cabin! Just perfect for two of us! 5 minute drive downtown and on the way to ski apache. We got to see deer while we were in the hot tub! It was a little cold to enjoy the deck on top of the hill but still had really good views. We loved it!

A couple little recommendations would be to change the water of the jacuzzi out, it was clean but was smelling a little fishy and possibly a manual on how to opperate it. I got on YouTube later and found out how to turn it on. But like I said other than that It was an awesome experience!

Great little stay!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at this cabin. it's nestled up on the side of the hills and the boys had a good time "exploring" their mountain. Very quiet and lots of wildlife. The cabin was larger than I thought it was going to be and was plenty big for us and our 4 and 6 year old. We had everything we needed. Also, there are snow sled discs under the master bed that we found on the last day otherwise we would have rocked those too! Thanks for the great Spring Break!

Just Right!

  • 5 of 5

This is a well equipped cabin and met all of our needs and then some. Jason was very helpful with our questions. The cabin is located in a very quite neighborhood and within a short drive to Albertson's, hiking trails and restaurants. We used the hot tub and took walks which made our 1 week stay terrific. I highly recommend. Just a note, and this has nothing to do with the cabin, but your GPS will oftentimes direct you to take White Mountain Drive. Don't. The neighborhood association has that road blocked about mid-way from the cabin to NM48/Mechem Dr./Billy the Kid Trail. Several other suitable roads are available.
