I Tre Alberi is a nineteenth century refurbished cottage by the sea, in the Eastern (Ionian) coast of Sicily. The Property has two units (The Houses of the Palm and the Carob Tree).
There place sleeps up to 12 people, every unit has its kitchen, one or two toilets with shower, and at least one terrace.
I Tre Alberi is immersed in a lush Mediterranean garden, with local plants and a citrus orchard. The garden is approx. 2000 square mt (over 20,000 sq feet) and provides a discrete environment to those guests who prize privacy and quiet. The house is not on the busy main road, adding extra quiet and privacy, and you will access the stairs through a footpath running briefly by a local natural turrent.
And yet the place is across the road from the beach of Giardini Naxos and the several shops and restaurants facing it. Within walking range you can find pebbles, rocks or fine sandy beaches, catering for all tastes. You will be well connected to Airports (Catania is a 40' drive), trains (the train station of Giardini Naxos-Taormina is less than a km away), highways (Giardini Naxos- Taormina Sud exit) and in a perfect spot to enjoy both the seaside, and the volcano Etna, the highest in Europe and the second most active in the world.
I Tre Alberi offers a unique blend, by being both by the beach and secluded. Offers a stunning view from its numerous terraces and the quiet garden. It is a strategic spot for the active traveller who wishes to visit Eastern Sicily, a perfect crib for the lazy dweller who only wants to swim and sunbathe, and a well-placed trampoline for the socialite who wants to enjoy the nightlife in Taormina and Catania.

A few steps uphill there is the “Palm house”: a big apartment made of 3 double sleeping rooms, a wide living room, kitchen and two bathrooms. This includes two large terraces. The first one faces the sea and has an area in the shadows perfect for dining outside. The other one, on the opposite side of the house, overlooks the quiet background hills, the citrus orchard and a little henhouse
House of the Carob Tree: sleeps 5 (2 double/twin bedrooms, spacious living room with kitchenette and 1 extra bed, bathroom, large garden partly shaded by the huge carob tree. Peculiarity of this unit are its wooden ceiling and a large terrace providing a unique view on the sea and the background hills at the same time)
I am a member of the family who owns this property. Grandad Pippo bought this place when it was just ruins on a hill, but he could see the unique position and the potential. Since my teen years this has been the family venue for our summer holidays.
Now that keeping it in good shape is taking its toll in expenses, we decided to share this beautiful location with others so we can keep it in top shape.
