Ocean paradise awaits you in this large, 5 bedroom/3 bath, open floor planned beach house with screened-in pool and lanai. Just bring your swimsuits and sunscreen and strole to your own private beach (just an 6-8 minute walk). Roomy enough for two families vacationing together. This updated, spacious beach house has Main bedroom with private bath area, King size bed overlooking the pool through french doors. The other 4 bedrooms all have queen size beds. This home has Wifi, pool and beach toys, lots of closet space and large garage. TVs are setup for renters to use their own streaming account/Netfix/Amazon...Our beach house is just 15 miles from Siesta Key; the number one rated beach in Florida. 1.2 miles from quaint shops and restaurants and less than 1 mile to Sharkey's on the Pier and Finn's, where you can dive into delicious seafood, watch the pelicans hanging out or rent a pole and do some fishing. Not up for going out? Grab some juicy steaks and grill them. If your looking to relax in a quiet neighborhood or hit the white sandy beach of Siesta Key, or take in a concert or comedy club in Sarasota, this is the ONLY place for you.

Definitely a "Little Paradise"

Absolutely LOVED our stay at this property. The house was spectacular and was a great location to beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. The owners had anticipated and provided anything that could possibly be needed for an extended stay.

Five weeks in Paradise

The property was great. Well equipped for a chef like me. Great layout where the large master suite was away from the other guest bedrooms. Beautiful pool area with covered space for outdoor dining. Nice walks both north into old Venice and south to the pier. Super spot to entertain for kids and grandkids!

A real gem!

We’ve been vacationing on Venice Island for many years. This home was amazing for a number of reasons. Communicating with owner was never an issue. The few questions I had were answered very quickly. The home itself is lovely. Really well appointed and the decor was fun! Private beach and pool. Everything we needed was included with this well tended home. Looking forward to another visit.

Great Venice Island house, pool, neighborhood and owner!

We stayed at this property for two months, Dec. 2020-Jan. 2021, to escape the winter up north and it couldn't have been better! We found it to be clean, well stocked with kitchen items, towels, beach equipment, etc. The house is in a great location - we walked to the beach almost every day in the late afternoon for sunset - and we were easily able to enjoy all that Venice Island has to offer ranging from great food and long bike rides to beach yoga! The house is beautiful, spacious, and easily accommodated our extended family, including my elderly parents. Anything we needed was available in the house and the owner was very responsive to questions and problems, including replacing the garbage disposal the day after we noticed it was leaking! We cannot say enough wonderful things about this house and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a great house, a pool, walking distance to the beach, and in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. I would happily stay there again and highly recommend the house!

I am an ocean-loving author, wife and mother of two who worked and waited for 32 years to acquire my own piece of paradise. I love to read, sing, hike, boat, dance, walk the beach, travel and discover new and interesting places. My kids are awesome and my husband is a hard-working, hard-playing challenge whose lots of fun. In April of 2012, my first children's book called 'Diamond Hero' was published. We have a horse named Mustard.

Why they chose this property

I chose to buy a vacation rental in this area because of its proximity to everything including peace and quiet. It is in a quiet little neighborhood yet so close to City life and the greatest beach around; Siesta Key. Everything such as restaurants, shopping, major grocery store, and beaches are within walking distance and I love the small town feel to Venice. Everyone is smiling and helpful, what else could anyone want?

What makes this property unique

The sunsets are wonderful at the private beach and quite often I will walk out my front door and spy an egret walking up my driveway - incredible. My neighbors are sweet and helpful and I love the fact that the pool is fenced in and screened so NO BUGS!
