Why Karen Harris chose Hiawassee
The Perch is only 1 mile to the town of Hiawassee Georgia. Located at a dead end road, feel secluded in this lodge-style home. Hiawassee is one of the most beautiful towns in the North Georgian mountain area. Escape from the chaos and hustle of larger cities. The photograph does not do the view justice, come and see for yourself.
What makes this Cabin unique
This real log cabin has one of the best views in Hiawassee. Sit in one of the tall adirondack chairs that looks over the rail or relax in one of the cushioned chaise lounges for a perfect lake, mountain and sunset view. The home sits on a private, secluded lot at the end of a dead end road, FULLY PAVED with parking for 2 cars wide. Only 2 miles from the middle of town, Hiawassee, Ga.

We loved the view from the upper deck and it was very peaceful. The home offered a really nice layout and would be perfect for a large family, even though this time it was just my husband and I. The accessibility to the home was something I don't feel everyone would be on board with, as it was a very steep climb and had many tight curves up the mountain. We did fine in our 4 wheel drive vehicle, but I'm not sure some vehicles and drivers would be okay with it. It was clean and had everything we needed, and we would reccomend it to some friends and family.
Our Stay at The Perch
An overall good experience. Karen was helpful & answered our questions. The cabin was clean & neat & the view was beautiful!
Made me want to move to the GA mountains!!!
My family and I evacuated for a hurricane and this property made our negative situation into a beautiful memory for all of us. Karen was a gracious & an accommodating host. The home was spacious, clean & all around a great location. We fell in love and now are talking about investing into a family home in the mountains, but until then, we would love to return to Karen’s!
Labor Day Stay
Awesome view! Highly recommend to anyone to stay here.
