Anna May Charrington purchased this condo in 2011
After years of exploring the Virgin Islands through bareboat sailing rentals, we settled on St. John because of the spectacular scenery, the warmth of the island people, and the perfect weather.
We love the ever-changing vistas of the harbor: pelicans diving, sailboats coming and going. The proximity to town is another plus - we love leaving the car behind and walking to the many wonderful restaurants in Cruz Bay.
We just came back from a ten day stay over Spring Break and had a wonderful time. I wish we could have stayed longer We traveled with our two kids 10 and 12 and the Charrington's place was perfect for our family. The condo is located within walking distance to all the great restaurants in Cruz Bay and is beautifully and thoughtfully furnished. There are beach chairs, towels, and an ice chest perfect for packing picnic lunches to take to the beach. Anna May was a pleasure to work with and responds promptly to emails or questions. This is our 2nd time on St John and although there are still signs of Hurricane damage, St John and Cruz Bay are ready for visitors. Most restaurants are open and the beaches are as beautiful as ever. We loved everything about our stay here and will definitely be back. We are already planning on our next trip.
Great shape, all the amenities. St John is on the way back. The people are amazing
The condo was perfect for our trip. Clean, well-equipped, great view of the bay, and within walking distance of everything. The Charringtons are wonderful and gracious hosts. Everything was perfect! While there were a few restaurants and amenities that haven't reopened since the storm, most things are up and running, and there were reduced tourists, so it was easy to walk into any number of great restaurants without reservations, the beaches were nice and quiet. The scuba diving, snorkeling, and hiking were great! A lovely trip.
We absolutely loved our stay at Anna May’s place in Grande Bay!
The unit itself was nice, had high-quality furnishings, and had everything you needed. There were only two of us but we could have easily slept two more on the pull out couch. And the view was amazing! Coffee on the balcony in the morning and cocktails in the evening! Wifi made it easy to stay in touch with the States.
Grande Bay itself is only steps away to the best restaurants and bars in Cruz Bay. Grand Bay also boasts covered parking, a nice pool, filtered water, and friendly staff.
Anna May was great to work with. All check information was provided ahead of time and was easy to understand. All questions were answered promptly.
We hope to return to St. John later in the year and we’ll definitely stay here again!
Condo is well kept up. Management company has great front end service when you arrive. Location is awesome. Able to walk to everything around town, and easy to catch taxis from Ferry dock. We would stay here again.
The picture from the balcony had me sold. The condo was wonderful, everything you need was there. Grande Bay was great, loved the pool on the roof. I could go again and again and again.
