Beaune, the capital city of world-renowned Burgundy wines.

You are in the heart of an historic city complete with the famous Hospices de Beaune (1443) while surrounded by great Burgundy vineyards such as Meursault, Montrachet, Corton, Volnay, Pommard and Chambolle Musigny to name a few. The well-traveled Route des Grands Crus and La Rochepot Scenic Vineyards Route are nearby for easy and beautiful pastoral drives through wine villages.

The art-filled luxury two-story apartment is in the middle of the shopping and restaurants district with the front side facing a pedestrian-only cobblestone lane. Parking is available in the rear. Nearby are numerous places of cultural wealth, castles, old villages, churches, museums, art galleries and street markets. This superb new luxury apartment sleeps up to 6 guests in a XVth century house on two floors for a total of 205 sqmeters (2210 sq. ft).

The lower floor is reminiscent of a castle room with an over-size (1130 sq.ft) open floor plan kitchen/dining/lounge under a high magnificent French beamed oak ceiling. The area has a full-sized and fully-equiped top-end modern kitchen. Artwork is plentiful throughout. The space encourages relaxing with friends over a glass of delicious local wine with sunlight streaming through the restored arched stone-framed windows. It even provides an inconspicuous laundry room.

Upstairs are the three totally modern roomy, quiet and comfortable bedrooms with toilets and shower and/or tub where church spires and old tiled roofs are visible through skylights. The bedrooms's beds can be split into twins. The rooms are air conditioned.

Agnes and Jean Jacques are pleased to welcome you in our completely renovated XVth century house for a nice, quiet, comfortable stay.

We own and manage a wine bar-restaurant in the center of the town since 1985 and we like to welcome guest like friends.

Since years we live in Beaune we thought it was now the time to renovate this part of our XVth century house to welcome our friends in a great place to stay in Burgundy. It was made outstandingly in 2011.

A nice part of our job is to visit our friends winemakers where we choose our wines.

It's a short distance to town and easy to reach. A nice time is to visit the market on satursday morning, colourfull and happy. Don't forget to visit the famous 1443 Hospices de Beaune, it's a must !

Also nice to go and have a drink or dinner on a short walk in the town.

What makes this apartment unique

Beaune is a charming lovely town and is the capital city of Burgundy wines, and it's nice to travel through the vineyards to discover some famous villages such as Meursault, Pommard, Corton, Chambertin... We can help you for your trip or for a tour in the wine area.

Our property is in a 2 minutes walk to the world famous Hospices de Beaune built in 1443 ! and in the center of restaurants, shops & museums area. The satursday remarkable market is very attractive and right on the Hospices de Beaune square.

If you come by car we provide a free covered parking card.

  • In our mind 3 bedrooms means 3 bathrooms so we think it's nicer and convenient for our guest to own their private and modern bathroom: 2 with large showers and 1 with full bath and shower head for a proper shower. There is an ample storage under the sinks to store your toiletries. All bedrooms are with private functional toilet. All fixtures are new (we provide towels, hair dryer, soap, linens, shampoo, etc)

The bedrooms's beds can be split into twins. The rooms are air conditioned and are with large closets with many hangers for your clothes, and a sound system for your iphone or ipad. We have equipped bedrooms with the most comfortable mattresses. Beds are prepared with high quality linens (anti allergen) and when you arrive a bit exhausted from your journey you can just fall for a nap. Bedrooms are nicely decorated with lovely furniture, reading lamps and each with a large bathroom.

Perfect location!

Agnes was a wonderful host! Rue Paradis was truly a home away from home and was huge! Centrally located, walking distance to everything! Parking included and was very close.

We were 6 and there was plenty of space for everyone! Beyond our expectations!

Perfect Accommodation in Beaune

My husband and I spent a week here and loved everything about this apartment, great living space, comfortable bed and good kitchen and laundry facilities. Having a car park just down the road was a bonus too.

Eric the owner was very helpful with lots of tips on things to do and where to eat in and around Beaune.

We would definitely stay here again and would recommend longer than one week.
