Spacious, new, modern, 3 Bedrooms-3Baths, AC, comfortable, calm

Beaune, the capital city of world-renowned Burgundy wines.

You are in the heart of an historic city complete with the famous Hospices de Beaune (1443) while surrounded by great Burgundy vineyards such as Meursault, Montrachet, Corton, Volnay, Pommard and Chambolle Musigny to name a few. The well-traveled Route des Grands Crus and La Rochepot Scenic Vineyards Route are nearby for easy and beautiful pastoral drives through wine villages.

The art-filled luxury two-story apartment is in the middle of the shopping and restaurants district with the front side facing a pedestrian-only cobblestone lane. Parking is available in the rear. Nearby are numerous places of cultural wealth, castles, old villages, churches, museums, art galleries and street markets. This superb new luxury apartment sleeps up to 6 guests in a XVth century house on two floors for a total of 205 sqmeters (2210 sq. ft).

The lower floor is reminiscent of a castle room with an over-size (1130 sq.ft) open floor plan kitchen/dining/lounge under a high magnificent French beamed oak ceiling. The area has a full-sized and fully-equiped top-end modern kitchen. Artwork is plentiful throughout. The space encourages relaxing with friends over a glass of delicious local wine with sunlight streaming through the restored arched stone-framed windows. It even provides an inconspicuous laundry room.

Upstairs are the three totally modern roomy, quiet and comfortable bedrooms with toilets and shower and/or tub where church spires and old tiled roofs are visible through skylights. The bedrooms's beds can be split into twins. The rooms are air conditioned.

Keywords: Rare large volumes, noble materials, peaceful. A combination of ancient house, with antiques and modern furnitures.

Agnes and Jean Jacques are pleased to welcome you in our completely renovated XVth century house for a nice, quiet, comfortable stay.

We own and manage a wine bar-restaurant in the center of the town since 1985 and we like to welcome guest like friends.

Since years we live in Beaune we thought it was now the time to renovate this part of our XVth century house to welcome our friends in a great place to stay in Burgundy. It was made outstandingly in 2011.

A nice part of our job is to visit our friends winemakers where we choose our wines.

It's a short distance to town and easy to reach. A nice time is to visit the market on satursday morning, colourfull and happy. Don't forget to visit the famous 1443 Hospices de Beaune, it's a must !

Also nice to go and have a drink or dinner on a short walk in the town.

What makes this apartment unique

Beaune is a charming lovely town and is the capital city of Burgundy wines, and it's nice to travel through the vineyards to discover some famous villages such as Meursault, Pommard, Corton, Chambertin... We can help you for your trip or for a tour in the wine area.

Our property is in a 2 minutes walk to the world famous Hospices de Beaune built in 1443 ! and in the center of restaurants, shops & museums area. The satursday remarkable market is very attractive and right on the Hospices de Beaune square.

If you come by car we provide a free covered parking card.

Perfect Accommodation in Beaune

My husband and I spent a week here and loved everything about this apartment, great living space, comfortable bed and good kitchen and laundry facilities. Having a car park just down the road was a bonus too.

Eric the owner was very helpful with lots of tips on things to do and where to eat in and around Beaune.

We would definitely stay here again and would recommend longer than one week.

Apartment in Beaune

We loved the apartment and the owner's and son could not have been nicer. Everything was top notch. It was easy to get around the city and just a minute walk and a couple minutes’ walk to extra parking. The apartment had top notch appliances and the bedrooms were well situated and had air as well.

The stairs are circular stone two flights, one for the main area and then anther for the bedrooms that can be a little hard to navigate so just something to consider if you have issues with walking. Also in two of the bathrooms the toilet is open to the bathroom, no door enclosure. We got used to it just something to note. That would be the only thing.

We loved the space and would stay there again and it was perfect for three couples.

Superb Comfort in the Heart of Beaune

This is an absolutely lovely property in the very heart of Beaune. It is even more special than the photos suggest. It is spacious and comfortable. The ambiance is superior. Jean Jacques and Agnes are ideal hosts. The warm welcome is backed up by easy availability for any needs. Nothing could have been any better! I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

A gem in the heart of Rue Paradis, Beaune

Jean-Jacque and Agnes were the perfect hosts for this superb property. They were highly responsive and welcoming, but left us alone and made it feel like this superb apartment in the center of Beaune, was truly "Paradise" in Burgundy. The punch-line is that we would return to the same place in a heartbeat. Everything was clean, exactly as described, perhaps even better.

Access to neighborhood butchers, bakers, quaint grocers, the Beaune street market for cheeses, truffles, olives, etc. are all minutes from the front door.

Also, the well-appointed kitchen allowed to shop for local treats and to eat meals, prepare picnics and wake up to our own breakfasts. This was not only relaxing, but also helped us manage to cost of meals - yet enjoy fantastic local delicacies. In our case, we traveled as two couples; but the three bedroom setup would easily allow a family with children, or 3 couples to enjoy the apartment, with plenty of room for everyone.

Once you master the directions to the parking garage (a 5 minute walk away) , it becomes a real convenience to not have to worry about parking. We recommend "dropping a pin" on your GPS/smartphone when you park, to make sure you can easily find your vehicle and park it again, later. All around, this was an excellent experience and place to stay and we offer our recommendation without any hesitation.

Perfect Stay

We just returned from a 1 week stay at this apartment. The apartment was exactly as represented and the gracious hosts, Jean Jacques and Agnes were a pleasure to visit with. They own the property and operate the restaurant/wine bar on the ground floor under the apartment (the food is terrific, I should add). The entire first (French) floor is one very large room with kitchen. All three bedrooms are on the second (French) floor, each with its own full bathroom. The apartment faces Rue Monge and is accessed either from a private entrance on Rue Paradis or through the restaurant downstairs. There was never any street noise. The apartment is located right in the center of town, within a few hundred yards of all of the attractions. It is also very easy to drive to the nearby vineyards and villages. There is private parking garage just around the corner and a free parking card comes with the apartment. There were only four of us but there was ample room for at least six. Beaune is one of our favorite places in France, and we will definitely plan to return especially to this apartment. We highly recommend this property.
