About the property

Dancing Waters

Delightful 3 bedroom with a king master bedroom, queen bedroom and one with a single, there is extra sleeping off the game room with a twin and double. You'll love relaxing in the Hot Tub on the deck and the joyous swiftly moving creek down below! The large game room upstairs has foosball and ping pong and your doggie can go right out the front door unattended to play and do his thing in the fenced in yard. So this vacation home is very pet friendly. If you enjoy a campfire and feel like roasting marshmallows or hot dogs there's a fire pit by your creek and plenty of wood. Beautifully furnished with king bedroom, queen bedroom and leather furniture in the large living room with gas log fireplace. Located just 15 minutes west of downtown Asheville out in the Pisgah National Forest. You'll also enjoy being 10 minutes from Lake Powhatan and the 600 acre Bent Creek hiking and mountain biking along with the small nature trails and formal gardens of of the beautiful North Carolina Arboretum.

Bucolic Blue Ridge Breakaway

  • 5 of 5

Dancing waters had so much to offer it made our Thanksgiving family gathering more memorable than we thought possible. The house is set amongst rolling hills adorned with colorful trees and open fields, beautiful homes, a winding creek, and dirt roads leading who knows where! The house was appointed just as in the photos. The jacuzzi delighted us, the nicely heated home kept us comfortable and the nicely stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner. We brought our dog so the backyard made it nice for us to let him roam freely. I was concerned st first about the distance from Asheville which was roughly 20 minutes away. That was not an issue at all. We all felt it was better being in the country anyway. There is a BIG grocery store about 8 minutes away. The house was more than we expected and I want to close with the highlight of Dancing Waters—the bonfire pit set next to the stream and a picnic bench. Two blissful nights were spent talking around a beautiful fire with the creek flowing and the train passing by.

The house had everything you needed plus more with the hot tub and game room! The property was beautiful and quiet but the exit had the best grocery store and anything else's you needed! Can't wait to stay here again!
