Birthday Week Getaway
My daughter is a student at Johns Hopkins and lives off-campus. This rental was four minutes from her house and was quite convenient. Although the property was a little smaller than it appears in the photos, it is very close to JHU and the St. Paul Street shops. We had a car because we traveled further afield than the Charles Village neighborhood, but when we were in town, we walked everywhere. The condo was quiet as was the neighborhood. We did have an issue during our stay, but Alan contacted me frequently to let me know how the issue was going to be addressed. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again the next time we're in Baltimore.
Great stay better location then expected
Nice place walking to groceries and food!
Excellent stay !
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo. Great for two couples, very clean with everything you need in the kitchen. Great linens and bathroom products. The owners are very responsive. The neighbourhood is safe in the John Hopkins University area with security in various locations. Eddie’s Market is a local grocery store with an excellent deli and only a short walk. Free city bus on purple route to Inner Harbour, took Uber back to condo at night. Truly enjoyed our visit to Baltimore.
Beautifully renovated rowhouse condo near Johns Hopkins
We used this beautifully renovated rowhouse condo as our home base when we were visiting Johns Hopkins and the Baltimore/DC area recently. The condo is very conveniently located-- walking distance to campus, and we used Uber to get to and from the train station and BWI airport. We had no need for a rental car. We picked up some groceries at Eddie's Market and used the laundromat on St. Paul Street during our stay. Communication and customer service with the owner, Alan, was fantastic! Highly recommend this property when visiting the Johns Hopkins Homewood campus.
The location and unit were absolutely wonderful. Alan, the host, was very accomodating.
We were in B'More to visit our son who is a freshman at Johns Hopkins University. There were three of us in the unit; me, my wife and our 15 year old son. The location could not have been better. It is two blocks from campus and three blocks to our son's dormitory. There is shopping, restaurants and pharmacies all within a two to three block walk. Street parking was plentiful. We never had a problem finding a parking space.
The apartment is on the first floor and we had easy access to our unit. The front and unit doors are accessed through a coded lock. The back door requires a key.
The unit itself is extremely clean and well kept up. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans, plates and bowls and everything you would want to cook for your self. There was plenty of room to eat at the dining area table and the counter.
What was extremely nice was the comfortable seating area in the living room. The chair and sofa are both very comfortable and it was easy to sit there and read.
There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has its own bath and a king-size bed. There was more than enough storage for all of our clothes and other items. Our bathroom was very modern, clean and well stocked. Both beds were very comfortable and the sheets and pillow were divine. We slept better than we had in quite a long time.
We are planning a staying in Alan's place whenever we are in B'more and recommend the same for all of you.
