The cabin features 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, with a large open vaulted living area designed for entertaining, and family/group gathering. This 1,650 square foot cabin was built with hardwood white oak, and warm tile floors. The interior is tempered with central heat and air. The outside features a 64' x 10' porch/deck spanning the length of the cabin, of which 48' is covered. The wood porch is perfect for calm mornings that brag cool temperatures, and neat amenities that invite you to relax and enjoy the view.

Entertainment is what the Hickory Ridge Cabin is all about! There are two eating areas, along with an outside dining table. If you want to grill, feel free with the dual charcoal/gas grill. Spend a little time relaxing in the evenings by the fire pit, or just hang out on the porch with your family.
One of the great parts of Hickory Ridge Cabins is it proximity to the lake and trout fishing habitat, as both are 1 mile away. Go spend the day out on the lake, or pick up your fishing rod and try your luck out on the river. The Lower Mountain Fork River is known as one of the two year round cold water fisheries in the state of Oklahoma. It has been featured on Trout Unlimited's 'The Rise' television show, and has gained national recognition as a wonderful trout stream. Just take the time and check out the Evening Hole (restored by Trout Unlimited and the Lower Mountain Fork River Foundation) and you will see what I am talking about. Take the family horseback riding, or just jump in a tube or canoe and take a float down the river. There are too many things to do here!
If you are a serious fly fisherman, you will love the custom fly tying table. While your family and friends talk in the living room, you can tie up and craft your own flies for the next days outing. There are countless activities to enjoy here in Broken Bow/Beaver's Bend, so come in and let Hickory Ridge Cabin start your vacation off on the right step.
Note: Hickory Ridge Cabin property is settled on a slight to moderate incline. There are 3 separate stairs leading to the porch/front door. Please take note for children and elderly.

We knew about the beauty of the Broken Bow and Beavers Bend area, mainly because my wife is from Southeast Oklahoma . We wanted to build a cabin that our family could use to enjoy all the sites and activities of the lake, mountains, and river. Our two sons have small children that are going to be able to enjoy this for many years to come. It is a great place to just relax and enjoy cool mornings on the porch, or fishing on a beautiful trout habitat full of rainbow and brown trout. If hiking, swiming, or biking are things you enjoy, then you are at the right place here at Hickory Ridge Cabin. Antique shops are close, as well as a winery. We have enjoyed each trip we have made to Hickory Ridge and look forward to spending more time at this beautiful property. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Please contact us if you need anything, as we want you to have a great time at Hickory Ridge Cabin.
Eddie Brister purchased this cabin in 2011
My wife and I are both educators that enjoy the outdoors. We have two sons and two wonderful daughters-in-law. Four grand children also bless our lives. The Broken Bow/Beaver's Bend area has so much to offer. Each time we come up new activities seem to appear. The wildlife, mountains, lake and river all have somthing to offer. Small children will love the park, horseback riding, water activites, and train ride in the forest of the national park.
We enjoy the sounds of the area early in the morning and late in the day. Sitting by the firepit and having a cup of coffee on the large deck can be the best part of our trips. When we want to enjoy the fishing, hiking, or other lake activities, they are less than a mile away. Hickory Ridge Cabin is equiped to provide a very comfortable stay.
We needed a cabin that would sleep 7 men for a fishing trip and this cabin was perfect. We had a slight issue with one of the appliances, but within a couple hours the owners showed up with a brand new replacement! We had a great time at the cabin with campfires in the evening to complete each day. This cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed!
The cabin was immaculate and stocked with everything that we needed. All 10 of us fit comfortably with plenty of room. Excellent location too. Plan on staying here again!
very well laid out with plenty of room. stocked with everything you need for cook your own meals. would stay here again
This was our best place yet. We had a wonderful trip had contacted Eddie before we got there with a couple of questions very prompt and courteous. We will stay her again in the fall.
This was a great cabin that we enjoyed for Christmas. It rained/drizzled the entire time we were there, so the fact that the swinging hammock chairs were under a covered porch, made a huge difference as it allowed us to spend time outside despite the weather. They have thought of everything you will need and there were a lot of extras (i.e. kitchen supplies), so all you really need are your clothes and food. The beds and bathrooms were both nice and even despite the constant drizzling rain, we managed to have a fire in the fire pit outside under the tall pine trees. There was even wood there even though we brought our own. I would definitely recommend this cabin and stay in it again on our next trip to Beaver's Bend. Oh yeah, the fact that there were fans in the rooms (except bunk room) and smaller fans to use in there was another nice touch. Sometimes it's the little things that make a huge difference.
We fell in love with this cabin first sight when we got there. We love the stairs, the swing chairs and how the rooms were set up. The owners are very generous with the serving dishes, cooking wares and bath room amenities. It was very comfortable to stay there with nine people.
