Clean and Comfortable
Great cabin that was clean and comfortable. Good location for West Glacier.
Enjoyed our stay!
We had a great time in Colombia Falls and really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was clean and equipped with everything my husband and I needed, and dog friendly too! The property that the cabin is situated on is lovely, and the setting contributed to the whole ‘getaway’ experience. Frank was very friendly but also gave us our privacy, and he shared some great suggestions for local restaurants and activities. We did not use the fire pit during our stay, but love the feature and option. Would book again without hesitation!
We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and comfortable.
Beautiful and cozy cabin in a great location!
We spent 4 nights in this cabin at the end of September 2018. The location was awesome as we wanted to be close to Glacier National Park and Whitefish. The cabin was so cozy! The beds were very comfortable and the cabin was well stocked with towels, essentials in the kitchen, and they even had bear spray for our hiking adventures. The grounds were beautiful, clean and very well maintained! We enjoyed seeing the two horses nearby, and the two dogs came over to welcome us one of the days we came back from hiking. They were very sweet! The location was very peaceful and so pretty. There is a also a deck with a patio table and chairs, and a firepit, which is not shown in the picture. We will definitely recommend this cabin to friends or family if they are visiting this area, and hopefully we will be able to come back some time as well!
Great place to stay but no connectivity!
This cabin is a lovely place for 4 people to stay. It's very nicely appointed and the beds are very comfortable. We really enjoyed eating our dinners on the deck with no one anywhere near us! We also saw deer and a fox on different mornings, just past the yard! It was close to Glacier NP, which was our destination. All very nice. I missed getting any check in info, but called Frank and he gave me verbal directions which matched the GPS. The only thing is, the listing said "poor WiFi", but there was NO WiFi. Frank doesn't even know the password for the server, which only sometimes would show up on our devices. Not a problem for us. But, the cabin is also remote, so we had very limited cell service as well. Verizon users could barely make a phone call. AT&T users fared a little better, but it was really difficult to get to the park website to get the latest updates on closures due to fire or to find out information on Flatheads National Forest on the web. Also, once we were there, NO ONE could use GPS to get to the park. Luckily we sort of knew (one member had smarly downloaded google maps of the area for offline use) and found our way. So I recommend staying there, just be aware that you won't have much connectivity for information or directions.
Great cabin in the woods, would happily come back!
