Studio condo, 1 bath, sleeps 2, end unit, forest views, ski in, walk to lift
About Kirsten Liston
I left my job in Minnesota and moved to Colorado in 1999 to ski and mountain-bike. After a few years in Breckenridge, I took a regular job again and moved to the Denver area, although I still get up as often as I can.
Kirsten Liston purchased this Condo in 1997
Why Kirsten Liston chose Peak 8
I think Breckenridge is the perfect combination of great mountain, great town, and convenience to Denver and its major airport. When I found this particular condo, right near the Snowflake lift and a short walk from the center of town, I knew it was perfect and I made an offer before the weekend was over.
What makes this Condo unique
Close to town, close to a lift, ski-in--this location is terrific. The creek outside is fantastic in the spring and summer. It's just a short walk from the center of Main Street and lots of great restaurants. In the spring and summer, I love the back deck at the Kenosha Steakhouse, which has good brews and barbeque. You can also walk to a sporting goods shop for ski and bike rentals: Lone Star Sports, right at the bottom of the hill.

Excellent getaway spot!
The condo was the perfect size for our needs and within walking distance of downtown Breckenridge. We eagerly recommend this to singles or couples wishing to pay a visit to Summit County.
Great location. Everything as advertised.
Excellent skiing in Breckenridge! Perfect for a solo skier. Professional hosts. Plan to return.
Served It's Purpose
This condo is small, but cute, nice and and clean. Loved the ski-in! Skiing out is just a very short walk (2 blocks), which wasn't bad at all. If you purchased lift tickets online, you can pick them up there (at the lift where you ski-out) which was great. Can rent ski's at Christy's just 2 blocks the other direction (all still very walkable). My only gripe is the parking. After the big "Bomb Cyclone" the parking lot was snow-packed. I wouldn't say the HOA did a great job, but I'm sure it is hard with cars parked. However, I did have to plan my day/night around when I felt there would be a parking spot available, which I didn't like. There just wasn't enough parking spaces and if you didn't get one...not sure where you would park??? Also, if you really want a hot tub, you have to walk to it, so just beware. Not super convenient compared to other places I've stayed.
Very nice !!!
we loved staying at the condo, it was close to the ski lift and not far from town. the view was great as well and coming off the mountain we skied directly to the property, fantastic!! my only issue was the bed was not very comfortable, I had a hard time sleeping on the murphy bed. That is the only reason for the 4 star rating.
Great two person studio
Great place for two people who are all about skiing. Close to the lift, ski in and easy walk to town!
Cute and cozy. Loved the ski in!
