Great house, beautiful view & is stocked better than any other!
We loved our stay! We stay in homes thru VRBO at least 3 times each year with our family & this was the most well stocked property ever! It seems the rare time that owners provide paper products, trash bags & even laundry detergent, but this property had everything you could ever need. Even tupperware containers to save our leftovers from cooking on the grill at dinner! Impressed to say the least! Those simple things definitely made our stay better. Our kids loved having the fishing poles & canoes to use which was an added benefit to not have to haul our own on the trip. The local springs are a short drive away & it was great to come back to the house at the end of a long day of swimming & cook (& be able to use my choice of seasonings that were provided) while the kids fished off the pier! Great job on providing all the extra "little things" that truly make a huge difference.
So relaxing sitting on the porch. Quiet and peaceful. Loved the house however was disappointed in the water.
Most peaceful and beautiful place to escape daily life
Our family loves coming here. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by so many unique and beautiful treasures. You have everything that you would need back home plus more at this house. It is one of the most peaceful and relaxing places I have found. When its time for us to go no one ever wants to leave. Since we found this place we have come back several times and will continue to for years to come as allowed. I definitely recommend this house to anyone I know or even don’t know. Just go and turn your phones off and lay back an relax!!!
month out of the winter
I t was very enjoyable to wake up in the morning and watch the sun rise over the river. We stayed the month of march 2018, only had three or four rainy days. The house was very nice and had everything you may need. We saw a few deer in the yard, and a red fox several time. Also squirrels were very abundant. The location is very remote, and quite private, on our morning walks the neighbors cattle is usually all we seen. Did a little fishing, caught bass, catfish, bowfin and a turtle. The only small idem, is the main shower was a bit of a challenge to adjust , to have hot water and a little pressure, but over all the place was very, nice, relaxing, we really enjoyed the décor, and all the interesting decorations, great place to get away from everyday life and relax.
When you first walk in you are welcomed into a large, stunning open room of wonderful woodwork including Kendal’s handmade furniture. The view of the river is amazing. The kitchen has everything you need. The whole house Is so comfortable and immaculate. The best part was meeting Kendal and his bubbly, joyful spirit. Highly recommend.
Relaxing week-end with the grandkids at your lovely spot under the live oaks.
Even our 9 yr old grandson loved the sunsets. The kids probably ran 10 miles around your expansive yard playing and the yard swing was a big hit! The house was beautiful with the natural wood interior. Very nice week-end indeed.
