Cast Iron is strategically located right off 78, right by the Holland tunnel, a block from a great grocery store, a stones throw from the train and downtown Hoboken, and close to the waterfront.
The loft was spacious and modern, with the usual kitchen necessities (8 wine glasses!). Natural light floods the rooms for a warm atmosphere.
The terrace is lovely and new with plenty of interesting seating areas.
If you are a sleeper affected by light, you may want to bring a blindfold, the bedroom curtains are SHEER.
If you are a sleeper sensitive to sound, rest easy, it is very quiet.
Parking is not provided, but you can pay to park in the garage (the attendants are friendly), and not-too-sketchy parking on the street.
If you are a runner or just like to get out, there is a paved trail that picks up right outside of the Loft and takes you north straight up the hill for as far as you want to go. Liberty State Park and the waterway along Sinatra Drive are also close.
