Just 8 miles from Heathrow Airport on the way to central London, this beautiful, ground level Victorian garden apartment is just the ticket for exploring the wonderful city of London.
The 2 bedroom flat has a lovely decked walled garden complete with hammock for those lazy balmy summer evenings :)
There are 2 bedrooms both with french doors leading out into the garden.
Bedroom one has a King sized bed and bedroom two has a small sofa bed ideal for 2 kids.
The bathroom is beautifully decorated with mosaic tiles, overhead 'drench' shower and Italian ceramic floor. An open plan kitchen / dining room overlooks the front of the property with original sash windows throughout and fantastic high ceilings and features. There is a sofa that can convert into a double size pull out bed.
Kew Gardens really has a 'village' atmosphere, it is very safe and has attracted some lovely boutique shops, restaurants and cafes. Not to mention the Botanical gardens, National Archives, Kew Green, River Thames and Richmond Park all within walking distance.
Kew Gardens metro / tube station is a 3-4 minute walk up the street and takes you right into central London and connects with overland rail to Richmond, Windsor and Reading.
The property is available for rentals of 3 or more nights (shorter stays by special arrangement)

Thanks for your interest!
I completely agree with the enthusiastic reviews of Janet M. and others. The location in green leafy Kew is ideal, very close to the Kew Gardens underground station and just 3 minutes from Richmond, itself one of the loveliest places in London, incuding Richmond Station with links to Waterloo and many other places. The flat is very comfortable, all on one level, and furnished to a degree of completeness seldom seen in rentals (including an Oyster card!). The manager was very helpful, arranging early arrival and late departure, and providing some initial supplies (incuding chocolate!). Lovely small terrace garden. We have stayed at a number of flats in the Richmond area, and this was by far the best- we're looking forward to returning.
Why four stars? with a better quality sofa bed in the second bedroom I would gladly give five. Otherwise, everything we needed was available in this charming ground floor flat perfectly situated for our rugby weekend. Bus stop twenty yards from the front door, Kew Gardens BR and Underground a ten minute stroll away (great little market on the first Sunday of the month), easy walking distance to Kew Gardens, the Thames and, a little further, Richmond for shopping, eating, drinking, riverboating, sightseeing and watching rugby or cricket. The flat itself is extremely well appointed with all the utensils one could wish for. The living area is admittedly compact, but for a two bed we did not find it claustrophobic. Cable TV worked well, all appliances in order and clean (spotless property in general) and what a joy to find the fridge stocked with basics and the bathroom well supplied with soaps, gels, creams, etc. Even the slightly ill-advised LED wall lighting in the shower only served to add to the overall charm!! With off-street parking and a well-maintained patio area to boot, we found this property to be great value for money and the owner's attention to detail during our stay was professional and unintrusive. Would definitely stay here again and have already recommended to others. Thank you!
The furniture is awful. The living room sofa is very old and uncomfortable. The bedside table in the spare bedroom looks a though it has been taken from a skip.
There are two steps in the hallway and these needed to be marked in some way. I wrote paper notes out myself and laid them in an obvious place to remind us that the steps were there. Very dangerous for older people. No helpful directions to help us find the wifi instructions. Good linen. Nice bathroom.. Altho' the bath did not empty. We had to prop the plug up with a spoon to enable the water to run away. Not the standard we expected.
This is an ideal, comfortable little place which suited the three of us (adults) to a tee,Exactly as described and the bed was so comfortable. Angela, the property manager was superb.
Handy place for shops and 5min walk to the tube. Palmyra restaurant next door was great too.
We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The minute we walked in we felt at home. The apartment was as advertised and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows and very high quality linens. The bathroom set up was discreet ( towards the back of the apartment) with good vanity space and lots of towels. The outside terrace was lovely with roses blooming in the sun. Excellent area with little shops just down the block, the tube is within 3 blocks surrounded by little food boutiques and we had a great meal at the Kew Gardens Hotel half a block down the road. There are no steps into the apartment and the Kew tube station is wheelchair accessible so we were able to roll our heavy suitcases all the way from the apartment to Euston station on the Tube with no stairs. We did not have a car and we did not need one, tube , overground and trains are minutes away. Lastly I cannot say enough about Angela , the property manager, she allowed us to move up our arrival time, she stocked the fridge with OJ, milk and strawberries and left us chocolates and fresh tulips. When we didn,t understand the TV she replied to our question within less than 10 minutes. We would love to stay here again. I am suprised that the particulars state that smoking is permitted, we are non-smokers and the apartment did not smell of smoke at all.
My daughter and I had a wonderful stay in this flat. The host welcomed us with the needed staple groceries to get through the mornings and even some delicious chocolate truffles! The restaurants and shops are very close by and we were able to get into to London easily on the tube and also travel through Richmond on the buses. The second bed and bedroom are small but they were big enough for our 10 year old. I would definitely recommend this apartment to travelers!
