Nicolle & Robert are your Inn Keepers and Sandy & Jerry are the property owners!!

Jerry and Sandy have always considered New Mexico a second home. Having the sights, sounds and smells of the high desert has always been a privilege.

Sandy was born in Santa Fe and having relatives in Albuquerque and Santa Fe has certainly made the stays in Rio Rancho welcoming and fun.

Even though Jerry was born in Atlanta he feels a strong affinity for the desert southwest and particularly the high desert area.

The proximity to Albuquerque and Santa Fe made Rio Rancho the ideal location to purchase a home for Sandy & Jerry!

The pleasure of being able to get up every morning and say 'Good Morning' to the Sandias is a piece of Heaven.

The neighbors are special and have always looked out for us.

What makes this house unique

Sandy & Jerry love these things about 'Sandia Vista':

Our family has always enjoyed the hiking, horse back riding and skiing that the area offers.

Pueblo feast days are enjoyed by everyone and the pueblo people always make visitors feel welcome.

We are surrounded by pueblos and they are very unique. Traveling up Highway 4 through the Jemez

Mountains is spectacular. Stopping along the Jemez river to listen to the river and eating lunch in Jemez Springs

makes everyone happy. Continuing up '4' through the Valle Caldera and onto Los Alamos then down through Santa Fe

makes for a full pleasurable day. Every time we head in a new direction there is so much to see and enjoy.

Just a day of shopping in Santa Fe or Old Town Albuquerque is unforgettable. The 'Rail Runner' (train stops in Bernalillo just down the road) to Santa Fe is full of vistas as it travels along side the pueblos and through Waldo Canyon. Since Sandy is an avid casino goer, the surrounding casinos are a draw. (Better than Vegas) Out of town guests are always waiting for the next invitation to come.

Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Albuquerque!

We've traveled extensively across the U.S. and Europe. We most often book homes versus hotels, because we have a large family and we crave privacy. We also love to cook and do life like the locals. So, you could say we've been around the block a few times... literally!!!

Having said that, this place is, by far, the best experience yet for us in a vacation home. I blame that entirely on the hosts. They were extremely attentive and accommodating. And they were very willing to help with anything. Moreover, the house was perfectly appointed with all the necessities and many extras. Exceptionally neat and they even had jazz playing for us upon arrival. It's how you imagine it would be, but can never expect. These people do it right! We will always stay at one of their properties whenever we are in the area!

Great VRBO!

Sandia Vista has all that you would want in a vacation rental. The layout of the house is great! The bedrooms are spaced apart well and the common room/kitchen allow for everyone to be very comfortable. The amenities are awesome. The house is in a neighborhood that is a bit on the outskirts but you are still near most everything you would want or need and it doesn't feel unsafe at all.

One tip, when you enter the house and have to disarm the alarm, it's on the wall by the tv and front door! I got nervous I wouldn't disarm it quick enough because I didn't know where it was. :)

The hosts are super nice and are just a phone call away! Thank you so much for having us and making our stay really enjoyable. ♡ We loved it. :)

Family friendly

Nice family friendly neighborhood with a great view. Good location for access to Albuquerque and Santa Fe areas. If you are a snobby person who doesn't like regular people, kids and dogs as neighbors then this is not the place for you. Otherwise plenty of space and well appointed including a stocked beverage fridge in the garage, stocked bathrooms and kitchen pantry etc. The owners are only a phone call away and are friendly and responsive.

Great family gathering spot

The house was very conducive to having family members get together. Clean, well laid-out and easy access to I-25 for getting around the area. Hosts were very communicative and gave clear instructions for everything. Really enjoyed the time there.

A very clean and well-stocked and supplied rental that worked perfectly for our family and their dog

As other reviewers have said, this rental is just as represented. It is one of the cleanest VRBOs we have stayed in and it is by far the best supplied---from the extensive condiments in the refrigerator to the variety of cooking utensils, pans, dishes, and silverware. Being able to purchase wine, individual beers and sodas was also a big plus, one that didn't occur to me until we needed a bottle of wine. And it was available, saving us a trip to the store. Although we were a little concerned when we arrived and saw the extensive directions from the managers on things to ensure were done before checking out, it really was a matter of reading through all of the material and becoming familiar with what was expected. My primary concern with the directions was about the return of my deposit, but a week later my deposit was returned in full. So I guess it wasn't that hard to be good tenants and leave things in proper order! If you are responsible people who want a very comfortable place to stay in Rio Rancho, this is the place.

We do have A HOUSE BINDER!!??, that is honestly there to help you with the workings of the Home & tell you about Trash Day, TV's, Wireless Internet, ALARM, Help to Prepare you for your Stay & Check-Out , Suggestions for Local Restaurants, Grocery Stores, Pharmacies, As well as the Many Brochures that we go and get for our Guests from the Chamber Of Commerce!! As you can imagine, it is a big place, we get lots of different questions, about different things & we have tried so hard to have an organized Binder, where most of the answers can be found :) We are also always only a call or text away!! We are just so, so, very sorry that this caused you any worry or concern at all & truly wish you would have mentioned it on one of your calls to us, we would have been happy to answer any questions & to help alleviate any concerns! Another amazing stay at Sandia Vista!

This was our second stay at this lovely home! The perfect combination of elegance and comfort. Even better than the well equipped house itself, the owners are terrific! At the last minute, we were arriving several hours earlier than expected - the owners were incredibly accommodating. As with our first stay, they are very fast to respond to calls, texts, and emails, and did everything possible to maximize our enjoyment of this lovely home.
