Why We Love Our Villa
We spend eight weeks a year here recharging and unwinding. The quiet location, the warm sun, and the waterside location are great, but it's the outside oasis that we love most... Karen loves to curl up on a couch and read a book in complete peace , while Kevin drops a fishing line in the water and tries to catch the big one that got away last time. It's wonderful!
We are passionate world travelers who have a single mission: incorporate the best aspects of the accommodations we've experienced around the globe into the ultimate vacation rental . We offer the booking simplicity, reputation, and comfort of a hotel, but with the spaciousness, charm, and convenience of a high end home. We want our guests leaving our units saying 'wow, that was a fantastic experience!'. We look forward to rolling out the red carpet for you and making your trip to Cape Coral one you'll never forget.
owner/property manager purchased this villa in 2006
We found Cape Coral in 1999 & fell in love with the area. It was so relaxing & with is 400 miles of canals & easy access to the Gulf it was our dream to own a home there. In 2006 we built what is now Villa Del Rio. Renting our home has been a fantastic experience — largely because of all the interesting guests we’ve hosted! We just love to hear how they have enjoyed staying at our home in the Cape & how relaxing they found the whole experience.

I wanted to tell you what a wonderful time we had at your home in Cape Coral. Your home has an exceedingly comfortable feel about it and everyone is right at home immediately. The decor is charming and I got the feeling you had done some redecorating during your visit earlier this winter. The pool and dock 'are worth the price of admission'. What beautiful areas and unbelievably quiet. We spend many a late afternoon enjoying a glass of wine and the setting sun from there. I wish I was back in Cape Coral.Sandy
I have rented many homes via VRBO and this home by far exceeded our expectations. The home is easy to get to, the location is private and the outdoor pool area was enough to entertain the entire family for the week. The home had plenty of space for us, with bathrooms and TV's in every room. The neighbors were nice and the management service was accommodating. The only issue was the dishwasher was out but that is normal wear and tear. We didn't let that take away from building wonderful memories and having a great time. The owner is very responsive and has a beautiful home. It will be hard to get my parents to go somewhere else. Everyone had a fantastic time.
We just returned from a vacation at Villa Del Rio. The house is beautiful and the backyard is a blast. As you walk in the house and look out the back doors, you see a beautiful, large pool and a large dock overlooking the river. Fishing was high on our list of activities. My son caught numerous catfish off the dock and we saw dolphins just a few feet from the property. Several fishing rods are provided. Sanibel and Captiva are an easy drive and we even made it to a Tampa Rays game. There are numerous options for dining out and several supermarkets only minutes away. We did not use the boat on the property but we did charter a boat with a captain to catch some bigger fish. We cooked snapper on the grill and made tacos for dinner from one of our catches! The restaurant and bar at the Yacht Club was a nice, quiet place for a drink and a meal overlooking the river. Fresh mangoes every morning falling from a neighbor's tree were an added bonus. The property is landscaped beautifully, providing complete privacy. The owner of the villa, Kevin, and the management company made the whole process easy. We highly recommend this house.
This house had everything you could ask for in a vacation home. The location was very convenient to everything and being on the water really help things. My daughter had a smile on her face every day in the pool. Thank you for allowing us to stay and please consider us next year as well
Our family enjoyed the Cape Coral area and the Rental Villa. My girls really liked the swimming pool and the hot tub. The pool area was very relaxing, we ate all of your meals outside and it was a great place to be. The house accommodated my family and our small dog Ellie. It was a very roomy and quite spacious. It was a great central point to be and the drive to most attractions were easy to get to from Cape Coral. We will rent again from the home owners next time we are in the Cape Coral area. Thanks for allowing us to you use your home for our summer vacation.
We had a wonderful time at this house. Set up perfectly for our family. The pool, the dock and the beach which was not to far away were great. I would recommend renting a boat. You get to see a lot of the area by boat. And the fishing was pretty good. Thank you Kevin for sharing your lovely home with us.
We've been coming to Cape Coral for about 20 years now, renting different places almost every year. This villa is one of the top homes we have come across. We loved the openness of the space, very tasteful interior, great location for boating (you're on the river in 5 minutes) and attention to detail (electric shutters etc). The booking and "on-boarding" process was super easy - great communication with the owner back and forth - and the local management service took good care of us. I would be hard pressed to come up with anything major that I would improve in this villa, would I own it. We'll definitely be back!
