This 3rd floor unit (#301), is a Direct Oceanfront 2 bedroom 2 bath condo with direct beachfront views from open concept kitchen, living room and guest bedroom. Gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, custom cabinets, granite counters and wood flooring. Master bedroom with King size bed and full bath, flat screen TV and partial ocean views. Guest bedroom includes Queen size bed and full bath with custom tile shower. Full ocean view from guest bedroom.

Living room includes flat screen TV and free wireless internet. Patio over looks pool and ocean. In unit; washer/ dryer combination and air mattress provided. Includes free valet parking and use of small gym on site over looking pool. Walk to Bal Harbour shops, Shul, Downtown Surfside with plenty of restaurants and stores. Ten minute Drive to South Beach. 15 minutes to Miami Airport.

A separate bike and walking path is accessible directly in front of the building. The path extends from Bal Harbour To South Beach.

Why Chris and Adilah chose Miami-Dade County

Surfside is a very safe, family-friendly community. We were searching for a vacation home in a location that offered the ability to walk to several shops and restaurants and still feel relatively low key.

The lower unit level gives us both the amazing ocean view and the ability to get to the beach and pool in no time- a bonus when you have young kids and elderly parents.

What makes this condo unique

We are a family of runners, so we enjoy the biking/walking/running paths that run the length of the beach community and connect to neighboring beach communities.

Our unit has direct ocean views and provides a birds eye view of the pool area.

Great place to stay

The view,balcony,heated pool and steps away from the walking path and beach were the highlights. Interior was great,kitchen had everything we needed. This was the first time we stayed this high up (92nd street) and found the choice of stores and restaurants within walking distance were very good,wide variety of food choices and prices. Building staff were friendly and very helpful.We would stay here again.

Excellent family stay in a really quiet and convenient area

My family and I had a great stay in Surfside. Originally, we wanted to be closer to South Beach, but were drawn here after a friend recommended the town. The unit was perfect. The unit was very clean and sunny with everything you need. Check-in and check out were a breeze. Chris, the host, was great to deal with.

I was grateful that it was right on the beach which made it easy to get back and forth with the kids and my nana. There are lots of restaurants on the main road and in nearby hotels. The Publix grocery store is only a couple blocks away. My nana and I ate breakfast on the deck each morning. It's not large, but big enough for the adults :)

I really love the location and the unit. I was sad to leave the wonderful view. We're considering coming back again for our summer vacation. I think we found a vacation spot for the next couple years or so.

Good location - Poor unit

Over all, the property rates a POOR when compared to other condos we have stayed in.

While the location was good and the unit had all the amenities described, it had three significant draw backs:

1. the unit needs a thorough cleaning - dirt build-up on base boards, rusty sink bases, etc.

2. the unit needs a face lift - walls & floors are in rough shape. i.e. walls have been patched but not smoothed out properly before painting.

3. Most importantly the NOISE!!! The garage entry gate is directly below the unit's master bedroom and is mounted to the same concrete that makes up the bedroom floor. Every time someone opens or closes the gate, it sounds like a trash truck is in the bedroom with you (in the act of dumping cans into itself). This starts before 6:00 AM and goes on until after mid-night.

Owner's Response: We regret that your stay did not yield another excellent review. Our attempt is to please all of our guests and respond to their needs promptly. We wish that you would have given us a phone call, text, or email so that we could have helped you enjoy your stay. Cleanliness is very important to us, so if there is ever an issue, we would like to hear from you. It’s our home. We want to take good care of it. I have to differ about the statement of dirt buildup on the baseboards. I was in Miami on business and drove by and inspected the unit after the cleaning agent had just finished up. I’m pretty hawkish (which is why I showed up in the first place :) The sink basins are made of glass and ceramic. They can’t rust. There is no rust in the kitchen sink. It’s all of three years old. The unit is up-to-date. Bed spreads match. Colors are coordinated throughout. Our cleaning agent not only cleans the walls in between each stay, she also paints every third stay to cover suitcase marks/dings. An area below the window in the guest room is patched and painted over. We’ll try to work on the cleaner’s patchwork skills or leave the holes as a guest amenity. I get the sense that the tenant’s vindictive comments stem from the garage noise. In 2012, the owner garage motor was going bad and got replaced after a courteous guest notified us. It had been fine until the building recently upgraded to a stronger motor. Apparently, it is a bit too strong because it creates a noise that reverberates in the master bedroom. A recent guest who arrived after your departure notified us about the garage noise. I made a complaint to the condo association and was able to find a solution within an hour. We simply requested that the owner parking area remain open overnight until the noise/motor issue was resolved. The moral: If there is something that is ruining your stay, contact the owner/agent. We are here to help. It’s our investment. It’s your vacation. Please be responsive.

Spectacular ocean view

We spent a wonderful week here with kid. The apartment is on the third floor, oceanfront, with balcony and spectacular ocean view. The building itself is not very huge and is very quiet. Swimming pool with water around 85 F in December is located at the ocean side of the building, followed by private yard with green grass, beach beds , tables and chairs (secured from the beach by gates). The beach is very close to the building (1 min walk). Ocean is very clean (no seaweed) and not too deep (good for kids), though all Miami beach has warning signs for rip current.

Location is great - Surfside, just 2 blocks from the restaurants, cafes, Publix supermarket, CVS pharmacy, post office, Surfside community center with playground. Garage is on the ground and 1st floors. Individual and valet parking are available, but there were so many free parking spots that there was no need in valet parking. There is also public transportation available (buses to the North through Collins Ave, and to the south through Harding Ave), however we didn't explore this option. Neighborhood is safe and nice.

Apartment is in a great shape, each bedroom has it's own bathroom, there is a large storage room with washer and dryer in the main bedroom. There is also a big washer and dryer on each floor of the building (fee based). Apartment has all the necessary kitchen amenities and supplies, 2 TVs (living room& main bedroom), hi-spped internet, 2 inflatable beds, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, beach towels...There is also an option to rent 2 beach beds+ large umbrella for 10 dol/day directly on the beach.

The owners are very nice, helpful, and pleasant to deal with. We loved our stay and are planning to rent again next year.

Beatiful Condo in Surfside

Pasamos una semana en familia, muy buena y agradable !! El departamento es muy cómodo, se encuentra muy bien ubicado y està muy equipado.

Muy lindo condo en la línea de playa, importante el estacionamiento muy cómodo , sin cargos extras y sin tener que dejar tu llave. Bajas de la camioneta y tienes el ascensor que te lleva al departamento.

El edificio es muy tranquilo y relativamente pequeño para lo que se vè en Miami, eso hace que tu estadìa sea tranquila. Muy linda la playa de Surfside

El departamento tiene todo lo necesario para que te sientas como en tu casa……..desde una cocina muy bien equipada hasta todos los accesorios para la playa ( Sombrilla, reposeras, juegos para niños, colchonetas inflables, tabla de barrenar, etc etc )

Gracias Cris por tus gestiones, y por estar presente. Nos sentimos acompañados. Seguramente volveremos a alquilar el 301……

We spent a week in family, very good and nice !! The apartment is very comfortable , it is well located and is very equipped .

Very nice condo on the beach, convenient parking very important , no extra charge and without having to leave your key . Casualties of the truck and got the elevator that takes you to the department.

The building is very quiet and relatively small for what you see in Miami , that makes your stay quiet . Very cute Surfside Beach

The apartment has everything necessary to make you feel at home ...... ..desde a very well equipped to all accessories for the beach ( umbrella , beach chairs, games for children, inflatable mattresses, table drilling, etc etc ) Kitchen
