This is an oasis for relaxing and family fun or a romantic rendezvous. Style, comfort and walkability. This is a very quiet residential neighborhood.

The house:

The house has just been completely remodeled, decorated and furnished by a professional interior decorator. It is immaculate and beautiful. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. There are gorgeous views of the water from both levels. Flat panels TV's in every room if you need to catch the action, or leave 'em off and focus on the wall to wall views of the intracoastal.

The yard:

You own private dock awaits in the back. The dolphins play in the water by the dock every morning and evening. Sit on the dock and face west for a beautiful sunset as dinner cooks on the grill.

The beach:

The white sandy beach is only a half a mille walk from the house. The shallow waters of the gulf are calm, and so warm. Stroll for miles down the white sand beaches. See pelicans diving for dinner, little pipers pecking in the sand, snowy egrets wandering down the beach, and dolphins swimming offshore. If you want a romantic walk in the evening, this is it.

This oasis is the perfect spot for your family vacation or romantic getaway.

We love the stunning water views, the private dock and the proximity to the beach. The property has been completely remodeled, decorated and furnished by a professional interior decorator.

What makes this house unique

My husband and I love to drink our coffee on the dock in the morning while we watch our own private dolphin show. After breakfast, we like to put on our flip flops and stroll a half a mile down to the beautiful beach. In the evenings we love to watch the sunset while we relax with a home cooked meal, using our fully stocked kitchen and outdoor BBQ. We have seen manatees right beneath our dock. It is magical to dangle our feet over the dock and quietly watch the great animals come up for air while they watch us.

Beautiful House, Wonderful Location, Great Owner

My family and I just returned from two weeks in Melissa’s beautiful house on Treasure Island, Florida. Our group included our daughter and son-in-law, with their six month old twins, and our son and daughter–in-law, with their two daughters (ages 9 and 6). Our son and his family stayed for just five nights. We had a wonderful experience and recommend the house for a large family, two families with children, or several couples. There is plenty of room and an atmosphere that you will love.

The house is very clean and is like new. It looks exactly like the photos. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and the appliances are all top shelf. The open floor plan on the first level allows a view of the water from the entire floor. We very much enjoyed watching the sunsets from the back lawn, the second floor deck, and the dock. Our older granddaughters enjoyed fishing from the dock for an hour around sunset every evening during their stay. A couple of fishing rods and some frozen shrimp provided hours of fishing fun for the girls – no trophy winners, but lots of action.

The house is in a quiet area. It is a pleasant 10/15 minute walk to stores (Publix Supermarket, ABC Liquor, a bait shop, etc.), restaurants (from sandwich shops to fine dining), bars, and night life. Check out Treasure Island on Google Maps to get a view of what is close by. If you want to drive or Uber, the restaurant and activity choices expand exponentially as you proceed north to John’s Pass and beyond or if you head south to St Pete’s beach. It is a 15/20 minute walk to the beach in Treasure Island – wide with lots of beautiful, white sand. The beach parking lot has public showers and rest rooms – very civilized. Traffic on the weekends was a little congested, but quite manageable. Traffic during the week was not an issue.

Melissa is a considerate and responsive owner - email and phone exchanges, as needed, before and during our stay. She offered to provide an additional high chair and an additional pack n play for the twins. (Not required, because we brought our own.) Melissa arranged to have the property manager clean the house first thing on move in day so the twins could get their 1 PM naps. During our stay, we discovered one of the air conditioners was not operating properly. At 5 PM, we called the property manager, who contacted Melissa. At 9 AM the next morning, the service tech came to fix the problem.

Perfect location, gorgeous views, beautiful home!

My family and I spent a few days at this property this summer. We loved it! It is located right on a bay of the intracoastal and the house is set up to capitalize on the view. Upstairs, both the master bedroom and living room/loft have their own sets of sliding glass doors that let out onto a balcony overlooking the crystal blue water. The kitchen, living room and dining room are essentially one big room with extra-large sliding glass doors adjacent to large windows that look out over the water. We felt like we were in a paradise without even having to step outside.

The house was large and spacious, with vaulted ceilings and huge rooms. Everything looked very clean and brand new – from the appliances to the furniture.

We spent a lot of time in the backyard as it has a dock on the water, a grill, and comfortable patio furniture. My family and I ate breakfast on the dock in the mornings, and saw dolphins right off the dock almost every time. One came right up to the dock – we could practically touch it. Another day, manatees came and spent about 30 minutes swimming around near the dock. Large, strange-looking tropical birds hung out in the neighbors’ yard. It was a nature-lovers paradise!

It was about a 2 – 3 block walk from the quiet neighborhood in which the house was located to the beach and main drag of town. The beach is very wide and clean, and the town has lots of fun restaurants, some of which played live music on the beach in the evening. We had a good time looking in the little shops and relaxing on the beach.

This beautiful property is located a half a mile walk from the beach. Restaurants, pubs and the grocery are within walking distance. The magic of Orlando is a 90 minute drive or catch a ballgame at Tropicana field.
