We’re so glad we decided on Old Trees! Perfect for our family! The kids could come & go with such ease from the pool to the beach – which is where we spent most of our time! Apart from the cruise you organised Julie – that was really memorable for us. Can’t recommend this location enough. We were beside so many nice restaurants & this really is the best beach for walking I think!
Casuarinas is well kept & the staff couldn’t do enough for us – lovely ladies. We could see the turtle tours pull in a little further up the beach but we were never disturbed. I think the beach butler Adrian does a lovely job.
This was our 2nd time booking Old Trees – Casuarinas was great. It suited us perfectly. Our kids loved the plunge pool & the beach here was just great. The beach butler even brought us cold towels during the day – how nice! & he always had our loungers and umbrellas set up for us. The loungers are big comfy ones. The kids had such fun playing in the water which was so calm. We ate at Zacchio’s and also discovered Just Grillin in Holetown which is cheap & cheerful – lots of local people eat here – always a good sign. We had a special dinner at Tides too, its all refurbished & has an air-conditioned part too although we preferred to eat outdoors! The cook & housekeeper took good care of us & even done our laundry
We have just returned from the most wonderful vacation in Barbados. Our villa was stunning with amazing views and right on the beach. Every morning before breakfast we would walk to Sandy Lane Beach and have a swim before returning to a lovely breakfast on our terrace. I arrived very stressed and now feel wonderfully relaxed. I cannot wait to return
We spent a week at Old Trees with our 3 children and we all loved it. The location was great on Paynes Bay. We were able to swim from the shore to feed the Turtles which was quite an experience. We also liked the fact we were able to walk to some of the restaurants along the beach. The property itself is lovely and very luxurious. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
We are sadly leaving Barbados after a wonderful vacation. Old Trees 201 was everything we expected and more. We particularly loved the location and views as well as the fact that we had our own private pool to take and dip and cool off. We booked with Yvonne and Julie at Exceptional Villas and found them to be extremely helpful and professional. We will definitiely be back again soon
