About Property Manager
The owner, Bruce, was a factory worker, logger, newspaper reporter, PR flunkie, and unpublished fiction writer before he discovered computers and lost all interest in reality. He spent 12 years in a computer fog, but gave it all up to move to the Silver City area in 1999. He is now in recovery, but does find time to manage an office building and a few other business projects in town.
Property Manager purchased this House in 1999
Why Property Manager chose Pinos Altos
Bruce lived in this beautiful house for five years before turning it into a vacation rental. If you don't book it, he probably will. It's a sacred place that he likes to share with others.

Peaceful retreat in the Gila Forest
We loved this house which far exceeded our expectations. It is beautifully designed and melds into the landscape. There is so much to do in the local area, we wished we could have stayed longer.
End of summer weekend getaway.
The Avave House is an awesome place to stay!!
My family had a wonderful time!
Absolutely stunning location!
The house is nestled amongst incredible rock formations. It is very comfortable and decorated with beautiful rugs and artifacts from across the world. Well equipped kitchen and a fun ping pong table downstairs.
My husband and I had such a wonderful stay! The house is so clean and comfortable with views of nature from every window! We also went hiking along the trails and it was really fun!
The property manager, Jeanne was very helpful and accommodating when we had to stay later than checkout time because my dog got away from me and went hiking on his own. We got him back though, thank goodness.
Overall one of the best properties we have stayed in. Nice and private and quiet.
Peaceful, beautiful, secluded
Beautiful home and surroundings. Really enjoyed being able to walk right out the door into nature and onto clearly marked trails. Home design was lovely in it’s thoughtful and understated esthetic.
