About Dr Jeff Booher

My family and I live nearby, but can't enjoy our cabin to its max, so we've made it available to you. Please enjoy our little piece of paradise and respect it as if it were yours. Thanks-

Why Dr Jeff Booher chose Tennessee

No better river anywhere....period. No where in the South East can you find a better river, larger trout or a nicer cabin...If you are looking for a rustic, hand-built cabin with modern ammenities, this is your vacation spot or over-night place to rest your head.

What makes this cabin unique

The wrap around porch, sitting in the swing watching trout rise. Also listening to the river with a fire at night is as relaxing as it gets.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Perfect setting for our families. Kids had fun kayaking and tubing as well as fishing with the men. Jason caught twenty five fish. The women enjoyed just relaxing on the great wraparound porch. The cabin was great! We also enjoyed the activities in the surrounding area. We would recommend this cabin to any of our friends! One word-Amazing!

Very nice cabin and the location can not be beat if your coming there to fish .

  • 5 of 5

We had a very nice time there over the 4th of July. Our trip was centered around fishing and the fishing did not disappoint. The cabin itself is very nicely kept and was well stocked with utensils and cooking gear . There was also a large pile of fire wood there and the outdoor grill worked great . Looking forward to staying there again sometime.

Relaxing time on the river

  • 5 of 5

We had a very relaxing week, the cabin had all the amenities you would need and very clean. The porch was great for reading and libations. My husband was thrilled to be able to walk right out to the river every morning and fish. Jeff, the owner, was friendly and extended his help, if needed. The only problem we had was that the TV reception was not the greatest(trying to watch the Stanley Cup playoffs), but there is a DVD player and some channels do come in clearly. Bristol was a nice town and we had some good meals. Loved the Burger Bar and Eatz! We would definitely go back.

Very nice. Clean. However - no firewood.

  • 4 of 5

Overall the property was very nice and clean. However when renting a river cabin most people want to have the opportunity to build a campfire. I followed the instructions as specified and brought Firestarter logs but the wood that was there was minimal and soaking wet.
