The cottage was good overall, wifi was not great, very quiet and clean location is very close to the beach.
My wife and stayed here for one night and the place was so small and uncomfortable that we didn't even bother to stay the second night. We already new it was very small, but the furniture was so uncomfortable I couldn't sit for 5 minutes without having to adjust on the sub-par IKEA couch. Also, there was no extra bedding for the downstairs fold out bed, there were beer bottles left upstairs, and trash left on the patio, and the stairs were treacherous!. When I called to complain, the office person was horrible to deal with and wouldn't offer any type of refund. I was promised a phone call from the manager which never happened. I called back and was given an email contact for the management, again no response. I wasn't too happy with spending this kind of money on such a poor experience, and I would not recommend staying here.
Wife, kids and I had a delightful stay at the Wildwood Crest. The owners have done everything possible to make this a hassle-free vacation destination. Try renting a 430 square foot hotel room with two separate sleeping areas and cooking facilities at these prices. The short answer is: You can't.
These bungalows are so great. Nicely furnished but not cluttered. Kitchen provides you with what you you need to prepare a meal. Freezer rocks - had ice in less than an hour!!! Love the miniature fridge and stove - it's all you need. Clean, bright and cozy. Bungalow is so new it stills has the "New" smell : ) Loft is very nice. Little deck that we actually got to use a couple of times in between weather changes!!! Ease of renting was great - if you have a smart phone you can call, book and have all you need including door code within moments!!! Our 4 legged friend got to join us as well and he loved basking in the sun on the outdoor deck!!! Looking forward to returning!!!
yes is tiny but super functional , comes with everything that you may think of in all cabinets, preferred for family of 4 ,-dog haven too, just 5 min walk to beach, all the stores with in a waking distance. Rental office is 2 blocks a way and staff was helpful. but the niceties thing about it it is brand new,no bad smells, all the furniture are new, ect. parking is limited to one car , and stairs to bedroom are steep may be a problem for older folks - Anyway we loved it and will be back in couple months !!
This little bungalow was very clean and adorable. It was just the right size for our family of 3. My only complaint is that the curtains for the patio do not actually cover the doors and the sidelight windows at the same time. This makes it not quite as private as I'd prefer and allows a lot of light to come through in the morning. Luckily, the bungalow next to us was vacant, so we did not have any issues. Other than that minor detail, I would highly recommend this as an excellent place to stay while in Ocean Shores. We will definitely be back next year!
