NOTE:

To all those about to view the description of our home, 1st let us say thank you. 2nd let us tell you that if you are interested in booking a reservation for The A-Frame after reading the description or have any questions that we may be able to help you with, PLEASE contact us directly at; cabnfevr@roadrunner.com or (518)-696-4332. Stay away from using the "Contact Owner" tab through there site. Seems lately & apparently, there is a problem at HomeAway lately which they have personally confirmed to me and they told me that many other owners have had on more than one occasion with owners getting inquiry notifications very late in their emails. We're talking 3-4 days late notifications on a possible "last minute" reservations. This is not good because more than once now we finally received the inquiries in the middle of the dates they were inquiring for, especially "last minute" reservations. Bad for the customer who missed out on a great stay. Bad for the owners like us who missed out on the $$$. And so now,,,, on to the description.

The 'A-Frame' is a renovated smoke free, pet free home, cute and cozy with plenty of room for 6. New tongue and groove knotty pine walls. New bathroom and fixtures. New mattresses and pillows with protective covers. New kitchen and appliances. Snowmobile with ease from the front door to one of the Pittsburg Ridgerunner's groomed trails located in Lake Francis State Park. From there the trails are endless. Access ATV trails right from the property too. Restaurants are only a short drive away. Short walking distance to the start of the Connecticut River for great trout fishing. 1/4 mile from the driveway is a boat launch for boating of all types on Beautiful Lake Francis and only a couple of miles to the launch for 1st Connecticut Lake. A hunters paradise all around. Nature & mountain biking and hiking trails galore. General store with 24 hour gas access only 2&1/2 miles away for your convenience. In the heart of Moose Alley. Only 17 miles to the Canadian border. A quiet easy to find vacation spot for all seasons.

APPROXIMATE DRIVE TIMES: Pittsburg is located on the US / Canadian border at the very top of New Hampshire. Drive times vary from cities are as follows;

Albany NY - 5 1/2 hours;

Coming from further away? Our recommended airport is Manchester, NH (MHT). From there we are 3 1/2 hours away. Manchester is a nice airport and getting a car rental is easy as is accessibility. Great Place To Fish & Hunt Out Of

  • 5 of 5

We have been renting from Bob & Theresa for a while now, great people to work with, they go out of their way to help whatever you need. We have been fishing & hunting out of their house for about 5 years now and it is great, just go down the road & you are at Lake Francis to fish, We go across the street & deer hunt. The house is immaculate & has everything there you need. I would highly recomend this house, you will not be sorry you did.

Wonderful, cozy cabin!

  • 5 of 5

We have been snowmobiling in Pittsburg for years, and usually stay at Lopstick or other cabins, but decided to try this cozy A-Frame. We were so happy we did! Easy trail access, great accomodations with big screen TV to watch the Patriots! (Only downside of the whole trip was they lost to the Broncos!) - HIghlight was the 8-10 deer that greeted us in the driveway every evening. We are trying to find another weekend yet this season to go back to this great place. Thank you Bob and Theresa!

Fantastic Place To Stay!

  • 5 of 5

We all had a great time staying at the A-Frame. It was in a perfect location, very clean and welcoming. All of the amenities were taken care of making it a nice transition into vacation. Overall, we had a wonderful weekend away and Theresa & Robert were great to rent from.

The only downfall is there is only 1 double bed. We had two couples and one more double bed would have made it perfect.

The A-frame was just right for two of us.

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in the A-frame and found the owners and the caretakers friendly and helpful. It was nice and quiet and private. The building in the photo is a garage/storage shed belonging to the A-frame, not a nearby cabin as we thought it might be. Everything we needed was provided and the place is in great shape. We hope to stay here again in the future.
