Arianne and I are the property managers of several vacation rentals. Arianne is a graduate of the University of Florida. She loves spending time with our children and helping people whenever she can. I served for seven years in the U.S. Army. I'm also a graduate of Liberty University.
The property is perfect for your stay in South Florida. The hot tub is attached directly to the pool. It is only two or three steps from the master suite and it overlooks the water. It has been a luxury rental for a few years and stood the test of time. Guests love it and many of them come back! This location of this home is amazing. This home is located on a quite street with beautiful homes. It is just 5 minutes fro the beaches and anything else you could possibly desire in south Florida!
The homes are professionally cleaned between each stay. We are on-site on a weekly basis and ensure the homes stay in excellent condition. We have the vacationers best interest at heart and we strive to ensure the most positive, stress-free experience. Our family has 26 years of travel agent experience, and I have lived in Fort Lauderdale for 27 years.
I am local and rented the house for a weekend to celebrate my bachelor party with some friends. Upon arrival to the house, we found a huge box with a brand new water heater in the middle of the kitchen. I guess they forgot to install it. Needless to say, there was no hot water in the house throughout our stay. We pushed the box out of the way and went on without complaining. There was a pile of yard waste in the front of the house. The house was filthy everywhere you looked. There was a cockroach in each room. There was dirt on the floors, empty cans of beers throughout the house and outside. The window in one of the bathrooms was busted, and covered with a piece of cardboard. The mosquito screen from that window was in one of the showers. In order to take a shower with COLD WATER, we had to first clean the shower floors because there were hairs and dirt everywhere. By then, I probably should have grab my phone and call the manager to complain about all of these issues however, I just wanted to relax and have a good time so I didn't bother. The following morning we were hanging out on the pool and the owner or manager (not sure who he was because he didn't introduce himself) walked into the patio/pool area and asking for me (I was the one that made the reservation). I come out of the pool and started talking to him. He said he was there because there were too many cars parked on the driveway and that we needed to move all of the cars and only leave 2 in the driveway and that there have been noise complaints from the neighbors (I personally walked around the perimeter of the house to make sure that the music could not be heard from outside). I told him that I was going to tell my friends to move the cars and park them somewhere else, but that since he was there, I also wanted to show him and talk to him about all the issues I mentioned above. First he refused to even listen or walk into the house, and insisted that we needed to move the cars immediately or he was going to call the cops on us! When I finally got him to walk into the house and showed him all the dirt, broken window, etc etc, he said he was sorry although he really wasn't, in fact he barely paid any attention to me while I was talking. Within 10 mins all the cars were gone and he left. One of the neighbors from across the street came over to us and said all kinds of bad things about this guy and how they handle the house. He couldn't have care less about my complaints!
This home was as pictured. Three spacious bedrooms, great pool and view in the back. All rooms have ceiling fans. The bedrooms are good sized and comfortable mattress and linens. Everything was super clean and everything worked. TV's, ice maker and all appliances.
Close to beach, stores and all kinds of restaurants.
Will be returning to this property.
Wilton on the Water is a great place to stay! Very clean and has everything you need for a get away to Ft. Lauderdale!
Casey was excellent to deal with. He responded promptly to any of my questions. The house is nice and in a great location. I do have concerns with the general upkeep of the house. The closet doors were difficult to operate - sticking or not moving. The patio doors we had to call maintenance twice because the doors were tilting and couldn't lock. There was a gap in the corner of the patio doors where rodents could easily enter the house. Some of the blinds were rotten and couldn't be touched or they would fall apart. The lampshade was rotten and did fall apart off of the lampshade harp. The kitchen garbage can needs to have a lid due to bugs.
However, the pool area was very nice. The pool heater worked well. The pool is very small but certainly suited my needs. The sitting areas were great.
The beds were sufficient. The bathrooms were fine. The laundry facilities were great. The kitchen was spacious.
The neighbourhood was very quiet and safe.
Overall, I rated our experience a 4 out of 5. I feel the price was slightly high for the overall condition of the home and furnishings. We had a lovely time though and our concerns about the doors were attended to very promptly by the Hospitality Angels as best they could b/c the doors need replacing.
Thanks for the opportunity to stay in your property.
Took the family for a vacation to Ft lauderdale. The house is very nice, comfortable and was clean. The pool and hot tub were nice too. Modern appliances. Would go there again.
Everything about staying at this home and working with the owners was amazing!
We had a group of five adults arriving from all over the country for a funeral. The arrangements needed to happen quickly and on the fly. The owners were incredibly responsive and were able to get the contract signed and payment take care of with less than 24 hours notice.
The home was immaculate. We wanted for nothing; it is stocked with everything that you need. The pool and hot tub were a perfect way to unwind after long, emotional days.
Having such a comfortable place to be while we grieved was amazing. Thank you so much for the help and access to your amazing, comfortable home!
This home is close to the best beaches, restaurants, bars, clubs, and other great attractions in the beautiful Fort Lauderdale area.
