2 bedroom, 1 bonus room, 1 bath home in a charming, quiet community has all the amenities you need for short stays, that special occasion, that special Daytona event, or for an extended snow bird stay. We accommodate a party of up to 4 adults (adult age is considered 18 and older) or a family of 6 with children .
What is a Bonus room? This is approximately 250 square feet of an extra living room/great room, an office, or bedroom. The room is equipped with a full size sleeper sofa, a desk and office chair, a recliner, and flat screen TV with blu-ray DVR. Do you have an internet surfer, children that need to watch DVDs, or someone that needs privacy? It does not have a door so it cannot be called a bedroom although it is our 3rd bedroom. Privacy divider provided. That’s our bonus room.
The home is modern with up to date appliances and furniture. Spacious kitchen with granite counter tops and tile floors. Wireless internet access with cable TV service. A 46 inch HD TV with sound bar is located in the living room with a blu-ray DVD player. Flat screen TVs with blu-ray DVD players are also in each bedrooms and the bonus room. A large screened Florida room is located on the back of the house furnished with outdoor cushioned furniture and a gas grill. Additional outdoor furniture is available to use on the small outdoor area near the Florida room or in the front of the home.
You can smell the sea salt when you open the door! Walk to the beach in a few minutes for the home front door to the public beach access ramps. See URLs at the very bottom of this listing to see beach sites. Beach chairs, boogie boards, a wheeled cooler, beach umbrella, beach bag and beach cart are available for use. We also have a children's wagon, baby gates, and a portable handicap seat for the tub (requested in advance). We have bikes in many sizes for your use. The home has a separate single car garage that is available for motorcycle parking or small cars.
There is plenty of room to park your boat, trailer or RV right outside the house on the oversized lot. A 6 ft. fence is located on each side of the property for privacy. A private oasis for that family vacation.
The home is fully stocked with sheets, blankets, towels, beach towels, dishes, summer dishes for use in the Florida room, glasses, wine and beer glasses, pots, pans, lots of electric appliances, baking dishes, utensils, beach items, and much more. We even stock spices in the kitchen! We have wine and beer glasses with an ice bucket to go with it. If you are looking for a quiet place in the sun, want to go swimming in the ocean, surfing, fishing, boating, walking or many other fun things, this Beach Home is the perfect place to stay.

Your comfort is very important. This is not just a vacation rental property. It is our second home that we wish to share. Stay with us! Our property is maintained by performing scheduled professional pest control, filters are changed for the air/heating system, professional lawn care and other local services are contracted to maintain the quality of our home Modern heating and air conditioning system provideq maximum comfort. Some Florida rentals do not have heat and use portable heaters. We have heat for the cool winter nights!
This home is perfect for a couple or a family of up to 6. It is within walking distance to the beach with a grocery store near by. Tom Renick Park and Al Weeks St. North Shore Park are one mile away with parking, beach access, restrooms, picnic tables, etc. See URLs at the bottom of this listing.

We had planned to stay in this property on October 9-13. Unfortunately Hurricane Matthew changed our plans. Renee didn't hesitate to contact me and offer us a full refund. If you are looking to stay in a relaxed comfy home while at Ormond Beach, this is the place. Close to the shore or river and many points up and down the coast, then this is your departure point for daily adventures. We've made this our place to stay next year(s). The property was spotless inside and out. Sitting out on the enclosed patio with the cool breeze wafting by made for relaxing evenings. Quiet and private, didn't want to leave.
Enjoyed the stay and the owners were easy to communicate with. Nice area and we would recommend the home.
Everything was very nice! We loved the huge kitchen and living room area. The screened in patio was nice in the mornings. It was really hot so we did not spend as much time out there as we would have liked! Thank you for letting us stay there!
We are a short walk to Public Beach access. See our video 'Walk to the beach from the Yellow Sunshine Beach Home' at the bottom of this listing. Tom Renick Park is a short drive away for children with playground equipment right on the beach! No parking fees. There is also a Dollar General Store and Publix Grocery for those items you need during your stay. Publix's also has a liquor store. There are local shops and fishing stores a few blocks away. Banks all within walking distance. Close proximity to all major attractions like Disney World, St. Augustine, Sea World. You can take a walk on the beach or go fishing. There are many local restaurants for your enjoyment. Take a short drive up to Flagler Beach for surfing and the real beach atmosphere.

Our rates are quoted per the amount of guests stated at booking. Additional guests are not authorized after booking without approval of owner. Our maximum adult (adult age is considered 18 and older) booking is 4 guests. Our maximum family booking is 6 to not exceed 4 adults.
Monthly rates are discounted per full month only. Additional weeks are calculated at weekly rate. Contact owner prior to booking monthly.
Special event weeks priced at a different rate. Maximum 4 guests for special events. Flat rate does not include cleaning/damage protection fees.
12.5% taxes charge on rental rate and cleaning fee, Cleaning fee $85 plus tax. Volusia County requires collection of 6% tourist development tax and 6.5% Florida State sales tax. This is a requirement of all rentals of living quarters or accommodations in Florida.
Property polices: No pets, no smoking on property, and minimum rental age of 25 (entire group must be 25 or older unless accompanied by parent or guardian.)
We do not permit charging of electric or hybrid vehicles through the electricity of the property.
$250.00 refundable damage security deposit after property inspection. Non-refundable damage insurance cannot substitute for deposit.
Cancellation Policy: 60 day or more before reservation date, 100 percent of funds will be refunded. Less than 60 days, 50 percent of funds will be refunded, and less than 30 days prior to arrival 0 percent of funds will be refunded.
