Guestbook comments from the manager

The close proximity to beach access made it very easy to go to the beach. The Decks outside were well shaded and very comfortable. Plenty of privacy.

Easy check in process. Very clean. Fully equipped kitchen. Short walk to the beach.

Beautiful house. Other than having a day of people showing up unannounced to do work in the house, we had a great 2 week stay. Loved having my first cup of coffee in the back porch. Very peaceful. Easy access to restaurants, beach, and community pool. Would rent again.

Perfect for our family of six.

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay! The house was well stocked and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the porch swing. The beach was an easy walk. We went to the pools at the main area several times using the sports card (had to wait Until after 3:00). I only have two small complaints: no recycling bin and the pool was one development over. But those were very minor things. I would recommend 68 Pelican Bay.

Fun Times

  • 5 of 5

The back of the home with the screened-in deck and the open deck with a lovely swing/seat was fabulous overlooking the inlet. Even a screen-in deck off the upstairs bedroom! Close to the beach and easy bike to everything. We had 6 people and there was enough room for all except in the kitchen. Outdoor shower was excellent after a day of biking, tennis & beach. Table tennis as well.

Owner's Response: Thank you for such a positive review. We are so happy to hear that there was plenty of room for everyone, and that you were able to enjoy all of the amenities that Wild Dunes has to offer. We LOVE table tennis and are glad you were able to get some use out of the table. Please come see us again soon.

Stunning and very comfortable

  • 5 of 5

This property is exactly as it is pictured! It is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, and in a great location. We rent whenever we travel, and this has been our favorite house! We did not want to leave! Checking in and out is effortless too! You are steps from the beach and just a short drive to whatever adventure you want to uncover if you stay at Pelicans Bay!

Fantastic Experience

  • 5 of 5

Everything about this place was as advertised. Staff was very helpful in booking and accessing the property. Everything was clean and well kept. We loved the porch swing and easy walk to the ocean. Would come back in a heartbeat next time we are in Charleston.

We loved this house!

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful home and we really enjoyed our stay there. When we got there the fan in the master bedroom was making alot of noise so we called the property manager. They were there in no time at all and took care of the problem asap. The property was well maintained. The swinging couch on the back porch overlooking the lagoon was lovely and we got a beautiful breeze out there each evening. The walk to the beach only takes a few minutes and it was great having our beach chairs and umbrellas set up for us each day (not sure of the name of the company that handled that for us), so we just had to bring ourselves and the cooler! The outdoor shower was ok, water pressure not that great but good for rinsing off after the beach. The ping pong table got alot of use! Went to the restaurant at the Boardwalk Inn and were not very impressed. We had been there on previous trips and it used to be great. Overpriced and mediocre at best but a great staff. The Long Island Cafe (next to the Harris Teeter market on Isle of Palms) was excellent! Everyone loved their meals! Also Poe's on Sullivan's Island was great for dinner - excellent burgers and awesome staff! All in all a great house and we hope to go back sometime!

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to write such a wonderful and detailed review of your visit. It is great to hear the rental agency was Johnny on the Spot with the minor maintenance and hope the rest of your stay was relaxing and worry free. The Long Island Cafe is one of our all time favorites and has become a staple on the island. It is great to hear of your stay and we can't want to have you back on the island real soon!
