About Terry Avakian, Owner
At age 9 Terry Avakian began selling newspapers at night off an on ramp on the the San Bernardino Freeway in West Covina, CA...It was "The San Gabriel Valley Daily Tribune." Terry has not slowed down since. He graduated from Covina High School and went to college where he got a Private Pilot License at the age of 19. The day after that he was in the U.S. Army, drafted, where he spent a year in Vietnam as a combat infantryman protecting a combat chaplain. He later returned to graduate from California State Polytechnic University with a Bachelor of Science degree. That degree and $2.79 will get him a cup of coffee at any Denny's Restaurant in the nation. In 1978 Terry purchased a condominium on exclusive Wilshire Boulevard in the high fashion West Los Angeles/Santa Monica area, Beverly Hills adjacent. He was later able to acquire condominiums on Oahu's (Hawaii) West Shore, "God's Country" as the locals call it), just a few minutes West of Ko Olina Beach and the new Disney Aulani Resort. In the early 2000's he began purchasing homes in the Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage area in Southern California...in a beautiful development called "Tuscany." In 2002 he began concentrating his efforts on the fun and enchanting "West Coast of Arizona"...Lake Havasu City where he now resides. It has been a long, arduous journey for Terry,, and due to the financial crisis of 2008 owning property (and paying for it) has been even more challenging. He thanks his "Maker" for all he has been afforded in this life. And he so appreciates his guests coming and enjoying his efforts here. Thank You All. We are here to make you happy!

Piper Lane Lake Havasu
The house is comfortable and in a good location. Very clean, but needs some updating to be comparable to other properties at that price. Also the pool was green, and I know it’s expected in the heat but we didn’t use it for that reason.
Thank you so very much for this great review...it was so nice to have nice people there!!
You're always welcome.
Spacious Home is a great neighborhood
Although advertised as 4 bedrooms this is really 3 bedrooms and a family room with sofa beds. It was very accommodating for a large group. We had family and friends stopping in and we never ran out of room. The home was well stocked and everything was very clean. The furnishings are circa 1989 but all in good condition. Plenty of sofa beds to accommodate the surprise guests. The pool and hot tub were nice amenities to have. Plenty of parking for for our boats. The neighborhood was sprinkled with million dollar homes and the Lake Havasu State Park launch ramp is just a few minutes away. I only wish there would have been free wifi. It was available for $39 day which was crazy. Check-in and check-out was very easy.
Thank you...it was nice to have you all...I so appreciate the 5 star review!
Terry and Crew.
We stayed at Piper in March 2019. The house was the perfect layout for when our grandchildren visited. The views by the pool were so serene and beautiful. I have to say when I was back there looking out at those views I was in my happy place. Terry was incredible to work with and available at the drop of a hat. We loved it so much we will be back next year.
Great view, great location, house could use a little updating.
Would have rated 4.5 stars if it would let us. Our first visit to Lake Havasu City for a family reunion. Going in late August we were very thankful for the good air conditioning. The pool made it very tolerable to sit outside. Just get soaked and the breeze keeps you cool. Everything in the house worked well for us but you can start to see some wear and tear on certain parts. The pool was great but it is starting to have issues because of age. There was a "mister" along the west roof of the back porch that would have been great for cooling down but the little nozzles were plugged. There appeared to be a water softener in the garage but the water in the house was very hard. Just little things like that. It didn't detract from our stay. Highly recommend the sunset and moonset from the back porch.
Thank you Richard for taking the time to write a "4.5" star review.
I'm so glad you enjoyed our home...and I have already ordered a new mister system. Have a good fall season.
It was a pleasant stay.
Thank you so very much for coming and for this 5 star review!
It was good of you to take the time to write it...we SO APPRECIATE IT. We are so glad your family enjoyed the home.
Hoping to see you again someday.
Terry and crew.
Nice roomy house. Lots of room for guests to sleep!
Very nice place! We had a great time and it was very relaxing at night hanging in the backyard and utilizing the pool!
Thank you Lori for a great review. We are continually trying to make our homes just a little better each time...this time this home got a big reclyner and another nice flat screen TV. Next time we'll have more.
I always appreciate our guests!
Close to: Las Vegas, Nevada / Laughlin, Nevada / Needles, California /Parker, Arizona.
Lake Havasu City, Arizona, USA is a very unique area that offers a 23 mile long lake with great fishing, swimming and boating...it is so clean that California gets its drinking water from it. To boot, they brought in THE ACTUAL London Bridge (yes, the one we used to sing about!).
Also, some of the most spectacular scenery in the world is located 'down lake' from us a few miles...past the Parker Dam,the twisting and turning of the mighty Colorado River has etched its way into the land, creating some unbelievably beautiful canyons and high mountain backdrops, as it meanders along golf courses, camp sites, quaint marinas and happy vacationers en route.
Vegas is 2 1/2 hours Northwest. The Colorado River town of Laughlin is only about 1 hour Northwest. The Parker Strip along the Colorado...past the lake and the Bill Williams River Reserve...begins about 25 minutes South of Lake Havasu City
Other Activities: Strolling under the London Bridge..shops, marina, beaches.
