Summary: we had a wonderful stay, we would stay here again and recommend it to friends. The description and photos on HomeAway were very consistent with our actual experience.
This was our first time to visit NYC. We are so glad we picked Kristina and Owen's apartment. Everything was perfect. Kristina and Owen were really helpful. Thanks a lot!
This two bedroom apartment was absolutely the BEST. Super clean, very comfortable, close to Path Station, close to restaurants and grocery stores, across the street from a park, AC worked great, fully stocked kitchen, nice linens, awesome back porch, $13 Uber ride to the Newark airport.....the list goes on and on. The owners did a wonderful job remodeling, so pretty and comfortable. They live close by, and we met them several times. Great People, and they were so kind and helpful. The Path is a quick trip to One World Trade Center, or to the 33rd Street Station. EASY. There is plenty to do right there in Jersey City though. Highly recommend the Brownstone Pancake House just 2 blocks away. The Plaza by Grove Street Path Station has a Farmer's Market many afternoons, and a band on some evenings. A short walk across a bridge gets you over to Liberty Landing Marina, with a park and restaurant. Beautiful. Loved the whole experience, would definitely suggest this apartment to a friend, and I can't wait to return!!
We had a wonderful time at this property. It was a very clean and beautiful property. It is maintained very well. We spent several nights on the balcony eating dinner. It is located across from a park that has a farmers market. The apartment is located a couple of blocks from the Path train. It was perfect for us to travel to New York.
This apartment was everything we expected plus SO much more! We could not have asked for better hosts or a nicer, more clean space to live in for a few days. It was literally home away from home and we loved everything about it. The space is bright and airy with beautiful rooms, a GREAT kitchen, so many places to sleep (we definitely could have been a bigger group!) and a lovely back porch for the perfect afternoon sunsets. You are given all of the instructions you could possibly need and you are even equipped with the best local spots to eat at, drink, the works! We could honestly have not chosen a better spot to stay at if we tried. Our vacation was complete with our stay with Kristina and we will definitely stay again on our next trip to NY/NJ.
We had a wonderful time during our holiday in NYC. We decided to stay in Jersey City to get away from the noise of NYC and it was the best decision we ever made!
The apartment was just as described. Beautifully renovated, fully equipped, comfortable and quiet (it truly felt like home). There is a wonderful park directly across the street. Everything is within walking distance (restaurants, bars, groceries, wine shops, cafes) and the PATH is only minutes away. It takes about 15 minutes to get to NYC on the PATH. We would spend all day in NYC and then head back to Jersey City where we would enjoy the slower pace. There is a daily Farmer's Market near the entrance to the PATH. You can pick up fresh fruit, fish, etc. on your way back to the apartment. There are some fabulous restaurants in this part of Jersey City at a fraction of the cost of NYC restaurants. If you are visiting NYC, consider the other side of the Hudson - you can't beat this great location!
