4 Bedrooms, 2 Full Bathrooms, 1 Half Bathroom, Sleeps 8, 1.4 Acres
We are a family of five native New Yorkers.
Joan purchased this House in 2012
Why Joan chose Springs
Our home is a true labor of love.. Our multi-talented family is composed of a master carpenter, a construction manager, and an interior decorator. We are always planning for, and executing new ways to beautify, improve and upgrade our stunning home. The photos do not compare with the overwhelming sensation you'll get when entering the front door and opening the backyard gates.
What makes this House unique
The house is located at the end of a very private road, totally isolated from street traffic so you can enjoy peaceful days lounging by the pool on comfy Restoration Hardware chaise chairs. The bay is located directly across the road where we often go to view the breathtaking sunset. Beaches are a 7 minute drive, and the towns of East Hampton, Amagansett, and Sag Harbor are within a 10-20 minute drive.

My favorite house!
I have stayed at this lovely home twice, and I can't wait to return. It's a perfect gathering space for families and friends. If you want to have a rowdy party, look elsewhere, but for a friendly game of soccer in the giant yard followed by a dip in the pool and a large communal dinner, you won't find a better house.
My friends and I were all very comfortable in the spacious bedrooms, including the basement room which provides the best sleep! My favorite aspect of the house is the enormous, beautifully stocked kitchen, where you will find all the pots and utensils you could need for cooking, as well as handy serving ware and platters to feed a crowd.
The hosts are responsive and helpful and all the details are taken care of. We can't wait for our next trip to East Hampton! We'll never stay anywhere else when we're out east.
Perfect woodland Hamptons home from home
This is a great property to share with friends or family due to the spacious and open plan living arrangements and the subterranean screening room. Fully equipped and stylish, this home is well maintained with all amenities in full working order. There is a fantastically large pool and well maintained grounds in a secluded and tranquil setting. The property is close to the marina and East Hampton town. Wonderful musical soirees may be had on the piano and blue tooth music system.
Joan is wonderful host, house is great.
A great house, well maintained, provides a very comfortable stay. not a single detail is overlooked. House is centrally located with the short ride to East Hamptons, Sag Harbor or Montauk.
Pool is very warm and inviting, grill and beach chairs; everything is provided.
Will stay again next year.
Unforgettable Family Vacation in an Amazing Home!
This beautiful home is well-maintained and immaculate. Lots of thought given to every detail. Open floor plan and flow creates a flawless transition to the spectacular outdoors and amazing pool. The tranquil setting of this home is perfect to truly enjoy all that nature offers. Great location and great amenities. Owners are gracious and extremely welcoming. A truly amazing vacation with my family and we are looking forward to having the opportunity to spend more time at this home away from home.
Great property, excellent location (especially if you enjoy going to the beach)
The house is perfect for a family looking to get away and enjoy Easthampton. Owner provided virtually everything you would need for make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. We had as great time......
Heaven on the east end.
We've stayed at quite a few places in the Hamptons and this one is by far my favorite. First, the location is fantastic - Springs is a lovely community, close to town (Easthampton and Amagansett) but away from the hubbub, which we loved. We quickly became regulars at the many great local farm stands and markets nearby (go to Old Stone for the best baked goods and smoked fish dip!). A beautiful bay beach is across the street and Pollock house is close by too. But honestly it was difficult to leave this gorgeous home! The entire place is so thoughtfully designed and laid out. The decor is beautiful yet also inviting and cozy. Super easy to gather as a group or find your own nook to chill out. The kitchen is perfectly appointed - everything we needed to make ambitious meals or just snack all day. The pool is amazing and lots of room to play outdoor games. The owners clearly treasure their home and have put in a lot of care and effort to ensure their guests feel the love. And we did. We can't wait to return.
Springs is a rural hamlet of East Hampton, NY jutting into Gardiner's Bay, and neighboring the towns of East Hampton, Amagansett and Sag Harbor. Known as the cradle of the abstract expressionist movement, Springs, NY, has been home to Jackson Pollack, John Ferren, Randy Rosenthal, and Willem de Kooning, as well as authors Philip Roth, Joseph Heller, Kurt Vonnegut, Nora Ephron, and John Steinbeck. The Pollack-Krasner House and Studio is Springs central tourist attraction, but given its location between the bay beach on the north and the East Hampton ocean beaches along the south fork coast, Springs is an ideal, serene, location for any summer beach vacation.
