This is a belated review, but a very good one! We were a party of 3 couples who stayed in one of their apartments in September, 2014. The building is located within a 3 minute walk of the Arc de Triomphe and not 50 yards to the subway station. Restaurants and markets are plentiful.
I find myself unsure when booking an apartment, in that while they may ADVERTISE that a place sleeps 6, will it do so comfortably? THIS ONE DOES! The apartment was huge and spacious, tastefully decorated and very well equipped.
There were 3 large separate bedrooms. One bedroom had an attached bathroom (with shower); the other 2 bedrooms shared a fully-equipped bathroom. There was also a third 2-piece. The kitchen had everything you could need; lots of plates, glasses, mugs, pots, etc. There is a separate dining room that easily sat 6. The living room is very large, with room for 6 to sit comfortably. It has a beautiful fireplace, TV, coffee tables, sofas and a small desk. This is a corner apartment; patio doors open out to balconies overlooking the streets below. Streets are busy but interesting.
Upon arrival, we were met at the apartment by the property manager, who provided coffee, tea, bread and other basic food items. She explained how everything worked and provided a booklet with detailed instructions on the use of the appliances. The care that they take, and the care that guests are expected to take, is outstanding. The apartment was spotlessly clean. As it is not a hotel, daily cleaning is the responsibility of the guest.
In summary, if you are looking for an apartment where you will not be crowded and where you will “feel at home”, this is an excellent choice!
We rented this apartment in Paris for our family of four (2 kids) and mother in law and sister in law instead of having to book 3 hotel rooms...the price came out a little bit cheaper this way. Though they did not recommend it for younger children due to the type of decor. 2 full bathrooms
This is a gorgeous apartment with beautiful views. The guest bathroom is tiny as is the 2nd bathroom. The master bathroom is large and spacious. The kitchen is small but perfect and it has the best coffee machine ever and milk frother! We used the dishwasher once, it was easy to use but we didn't want to cook much while we were in Paris! We did buy things from local markets for picnics and handy to have a fridge. The apartment was more than spacious with enough beds for all of us. Comfortable beds. Heating and air control which is awesome since it ended up raining and being very cold that week in Paris. Nice balcony views and nice little sitting/garden area. They had wifi. Cons were that it was a tiny bit hard to find and get into...we didn't have the code beforehand to get into the building. The check in procedure with Laurence was quite long, and we were super exhausted from an overnight flight from the US...but it was helpful to hear all the information from her, which was also in a binder in the living room which had super helpful information. Laurence was the apartment manager and typical French person, helpful but curt and rude at times...the rules for the apartment were many and very strict and it seemed she did not like Americans. The check in time and check out time are NOT at all flexible. Meaning we were standing on the road with our many bags until check in time though the owner/contact Jeanne did try to accommodate us. The check out time was also not flexible and the manager and cleaners arrived while we were still trying to get our bags etc out the door. Also I left a few items behind due to the haste of our departure and when I contacted Laurence, she said the cleaners were instructed to throw everything away and they would not have saved it. Luckily they were Clinique and other toiletries but they were not what I considered 'throw away' items. The location was quiet and felt safe which is what we wanted. It was very close to the Arc De Triomph and walking distance from the Champs Elysee and many shops and restaurants but actually not close to many of the attractions in Paris and we had to Uber or taxi most places which got expensive.
Absolutely lovely flat just steps from the Arch de Triomphe. Elegantly decorated, comfortable beds, and great attention to detail throughout the flat. We would love to stay here again! It is on a busy street, so be prepared for city noise at night--white noise on my cell phone took care of it--because I was prepared from others' reviews. This flat is just lovely--highly recommend!
We had a wonderful experience and we were thoroughly spoiled! So much attention to detail and Laurence did an outstanding job in making us feel comfortable. I highly recommend this gem and would be happy to stay there again and again!
We had such a great experience in Paris two years ago staying with Elite at their Le Triomphe property that we rented the property again for our trip this year. The apartment is better than advertised. It is very well maintained and very well located. You can get to all the tourist destinations easily from the Metro station one block away. There are also a good variety of restaurants within a 3-minute walk. You also have the option to shop at the local open market if you want a break from restaurants. Lastly, Elites' service (before, during and after) was fantastic. The best compliment we could give Elite is when we were deciding where to go our two teenage boys specifically asked if we could "stay at the same place" in Paris.
The apartment was everything described on the webpage and then some. Beautifully furnished, color coordinated each room to melted into the next. Laurence (the apartment manager on site) was fantastic. Made sure she was there when we arrived, showed us the apartment, how everything worked, etc. She went above and beyond in helping us, a wheelchair for my mom didn't arrive when scheduled, she went around to the shop and gave them an ear full, 20 minutes later wheelchair was there plus we got an discount. My French is very basic and we had a problem with the rental car for the last leg of our vacation, she was there to make the calls for us, and didn't leave until we were sorted. Just a fantastic person.
Would I stay again? Yes, definitely!!
Le Triomphe was in a great location to explore the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysses, and the neighborhoods around Grand Armee to include Le Ternes, Saint Ferdinand, Victor Hugo, & George V.
The apartment, which is newly renovated, has all the comforts of home to include, large showers, modern amenities, washer/dryer, refrigerator/freezer, kitchen appliances, wifi, TV, and air conditioning. The air was important during our recent stay with temps. in the 90's F.
Sleeps six, although, would not recommend for 3 couples, as bedrooms are small and close. This rental is great for two couples, as both would have privacy and their own bath or for two couples and children. There is a lovely small terrace in the back of the apartment, which we enjoyed.
Close to restaurants, shopping, and the Louvre Museum.
The property is spotless inside.
The only critique is that it is on a very busy corner-Grand Armee-traffic all day and night long. Recommend closing the shutters for quiet at night.
There’s a reason that people fall in love with Paris. Provocative art. Intriguing cafes. Soaring monuments. Intimate restaurants. Exquisite shopping. Cobbled streets that inspire the imagination and feed the soul. For literally hundreds of years, visitors have returned to the city of light time and again, always discovering something new – often within themselves.
