Take advantage of your own private dock & boat ramp that are specifically dedicated to the apt for guests to use without interruption. We also provide kayaks for you to explore the sea and a free parking pass for the beach to avoid the need to having to locate a spot.
The apt is open and spacious at 1000 sqft with windows galore showcasing the fabulous views. The kitchen and bathroom are updated. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes etc. Grill outside on the charcoal grill or lounge in the hammock.
The living room features queen size sleeper sofa and love seat, a 40' flat screen HDTV? with premium cable including HBO, Showtime, Starz, Cinemax etc plus free high speed wireless internet. The bedroom is quite large featuring a king bed with all linens provided.
We're around a mile to the beach, but provide bikes or a public parking pass that provides free parking at the beach & entry to the Charleston County Parks.

I became a Realtor and when I found this property I knew it was the perfect fit. To Start the location is beautiful, it on the marsh and there is bountiful wildlife. Unfortunately while we staying there over Thanksgiving week we encountered major sewage/plumbing issues. It is a bottom apartment that shares a plumbing system with the apartment above it. First thing Wednesday morning we realized that the toilet was backing up into the tub and this was compounded every time the people renting the upstairs apartment put anything down the drains. I immediately called Todd and left a voice mail, I had not heard from him in an hour so called again, still no response. He finally texted me 3 hours after my initial phone call with promises of an immediate response by his staff. I repeatedly made it clear the it was systemic issue that both apartment were adding to. The maintenance man did not show up until that evening, we were out at the time, not sure what he did but it didn't work because when we returned the tub was 1/4 to 1/3 full of sewage water. I immediately took a photo and texted it to him, he responded that he would have someone out first thing. He never informed the upstairs tenants so the next morning water was flooding out of the toilet and under the laminate floor in the entry way, it was coming up through the floor seams. Needless to say this was disgusting. I went upstairs and had to ask the tenants there to stop using the water, inconveniencing them. I once again texted Todd (this seems to be the only way he communicates) and he said Roto Rooter would be contacting me, and that they would clean the mess. Roto Rooter came around 9:30 AM and determined it was a root in the main sewage line but he said they do not clean or sanitize they are just plumbers. I passed this on to Todd around 10:30 AM and he said he would get on it. Meanwhile we had asked to be put up somewhere else until this was taken care of and got no response to that, just more insurances that he was on it. The maintenance man did not show up until 6:30 PM and he cleaned all easily accessible surfaces, but the floor is permeated with sewage and not remedied. We were very patient with Todd during this whole ordeal and after negotiations, he finally promised us a refund for the 2 full days that were unable to use the facilities there. We have been home for over two weeks and he has only refunded the cleaning fee. Every time I email him about this he responds, that he is on it and then we hear nothing from him until I email him again.
We enjoyed our stay here and found the apt to have everything we needed. The view of the marsh was beautiful and spacious lending to a feeling of calm and relaxation. The bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect and only 10 minutes to downtown Charleston. Folly beach area was beautiful as well. I would definitely recommend this property and would return there if heading to Charleston again. Carolyn K
My husband and I had never been to Charleston and wanted a place that was close to nature, as well as various tourist sites. We were very pleased with this apartment. It was super-clean. I was impressed with that. Having a washer and dryer in the apartment was also very helpful. Basic staples and supplies were very adequate: cooking utensils, dinnerware, etc. We enjoyed watching the tide come in and out. There was also a tide chart in the apt so we could figure out when it was safe to kayak without getting stranded during low-tide! There is a grocery store (Harris Teeters) near the apartment which was handy. Using this as a home-base we went to Folly Beach a couple of times, into downtown Charleston several times (a very easy commute), and to McLeod Plantation (nearby) and Magnolia Plantation (also not a huge drive). Mc Lead Plantation was our favorite experience - a meaningful, honest, historically accurate view of plantation life. Todd was very responsive, sent out exceedingly clear instructions, and seemed ready to accommodate any of our unmet needs. We had none.
We would definitely stay here again were we to spend time in Charleston in the future.

An excellent choice to vacation. A very quiet neighborhood within a short drive to downtown Charleston or Folly
Beach. Home is very well equipped with all necessities and offers a very relaxing view of the marsh at the end of
the day...perfect for cocktails before dinner. Todd's major concern is about you and your family having a great
vacation. If any concerns arise, he responds within 15 minutes!
