Awesome property with great management!
Tom and Maggie are super awesome people. We loved the place and would love to stay at the property again.
Clean, comfortable and well stocked. Additionally, great location (~15m from Waikiki, but 5-10m walk to local beach) and overall wonderful experience. Would definitely stay here again.
Fantastic place for family
This location was a perfect spot for beautiful peace and quiet beaches but at the same time an easy walk to the shops and beaches of the busier part of Waikiki.
The house is beautiful with lots of room and very well equipped with anything you may need.
Great Place & Location
Tim & Maggie's place was perfect for my family. There was lots of space for the 5 of us. The bedrooms all had A/C. However, the first floor did not, but once all the windows were open and the fans were running, it was ok. The location of the house was perfect. We weren't far from Waikiki. Walking distance to the beach. The area was quiet and we felt safe in the area. The neighbours seemed nice. My parents liked sitting out on the patio. If we came back to Oahu, we'd definitely look to stay here again.
Comfortable and convenient
We had a lovely stay at this property. Morning coffee on the back patio was great for planning our day. Comfortable furnishings, good water pressure in the showers and the upstairs AC are perfect after a long day exploring the island. Very convenient to all things Waikiki.
Super quiet and convenient
Great place for our week on Oahu. Comfy beds, roomy living area, loved the auto ice in fridge.
Throughout the years, Waikiki has become the tourist mecca of the Pacific. Located on the South Shore of Oahu, Waikiki and its white sand beaches were home to the legendary surfer, Duke Kahanamoku. Approximately 1.5 miles long, this famous stretch of beach is perfect for both water enthusiasts and beach goers alike. Over the years, the busy streets of Waikiki have become filled with a variety of luxury apartments, hotels and world-class shopping locations; some of which include, the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, Luxury Row and the DFS Galleria. Located along the iconic Waikiki Beach, Kalakaua Avenue can be considered to be the ”Main Strip”: Home to high-end hotels such as the Moana Surfrider, along with world class shopping opportunities such as the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, and DFS Galleria. In contrast, the less glamorous Kuhio Avenue is comparable to Las Vegas’s “Old Town”: Home to the Waikiki Trade Center and some of the neighborhood’s more colorful and long standing restaurants, and nightlife.
Besides the hundreds of dining and shopping opportunities, there are also a number of attractions and activities that the whole family can enjoy. At the east end, is the Honolulu Zoo and Waikiki Aquarium, where visitors can visit and learn about some of Hawaii’s native land and aquatic residents. On the west end, families will also enjoy the Hawaii Army Museum at Fort DeRussy, along with nightly hula shows, weekly Friday night fireworks at the Hilton Hawaiian Village and movie nights at “Sunset on the Beach“.
Hawaii’s signature landmark, Diamond Head Crater was once known by the Hawaiians as “Le’ahi” or “brow of the tuna”. Once filled with swamps and agricultural lands, the slopes of Diamond Head have transformed over the years to become one of Oahu’s premiere luxury neighborhoods on the south shore of the island. Home to amazing ocean front views, awesome surf breaks, beautiful hiking trails and secret beach pathways, it is no wonder why Diamond Head has become sought after by a number of celebrities and world elites.
Nestled between Waikiki and Kahala, the Diamond Head area, serves as a beautiful transition from the crowded streets of Honolulu to the quiet urban sprawl of Hawaii Kai and east Oahu.
With multiple scenic areas, visitors can take in the beautiful south shore scenery and maybe even the occasional whale sighting during the winter months. Grab a surfboard and catch a wave at Diamond Head Cliffs or spend a relaxing day on the beach soaking in the warm Hawaiian Sun. Diamond Head Road is also perfect for those looking for a quick scenic run or leisurely stroll. And be sure to check out the historic Diamond Head Crater for breathtaking views from Honolulu to Koko Head.
