Master Bedroom, 2nd bedroom and living room all open to long balcony overlooking the Gulf. There is no better place to view the unforgetable Marco sunsets.

Master bedroom has Kingsize bed, seperate dressing area and private bath, 2nd bedroon has twin beds.

TV in each bedroom and living room.

The condo is fully equipped and comfortable. Ceiling fans in every room. Kitchen is loaded. Linens and beach gear provided.

Laundry room on each floor.

Beautiful Pool outside the door on your way to the beach.

This is a nice quiet spot but all you can think of to do is available here - water and beach activities, golf, shopping, gambling, excercise room, movies, theatre, walking, restaurants and more.

If I can't be there all the time I want someone to enjoy this place!

About Louise

My mother and father-in-law owned this condo before us and I hope my daughter one day takes it over. It is the place I go in my mind when I need to get away and cannot manage a trip. It is the picture on my cell phone and my computer screen. I lead a crazy hectic life and a visit to the condo is what it takes to make it all worth while.

Louise purchased this condo in 1995

Noone has ever told me they didn't enjoy their time here.

My family and I couldn't have asked for a better vacation

Booking the vacation was really easy. I picked Southseas because someone recently recommended it to me. I picked this particular condo because there were lots of positive reviews and we couldn't have been happier. We received the keys and instructions in the mail that couldn't have made it any easier. We were arriving late at night and my GPS took me right to the front gate. The person at the gate directed us where to go, even though there signs and I had great instructions. We had a key to get into the building and another into the condo. There was also suggestions on places to visit, where to eat and lots of helpful tips. Even though we have been to Marco Island before the recommendations and advice was very helpful. This was our 5th visit to Marco Island and I think our best. The condo was on the 8th floor providing fabulous views from the deck and provided plenty of room. My family and I enjoyed walks everyday on the beach (collecting lots of shells and a few sand dollars) and walks to the Marina to look for the Manatees and Dolphins. This condo provided 'everything' you could ever think of that would be needed for a beach vacation.

I highly recommend this condo to anyone thinking about visiting Marco Island!!!! Thanks again to Louise Mitchell for allowing us to stay in your condo. We definitely will be staying here again.

I'll be back...,that says it all!

Our family of five adults had a great time.

Louise's condo is very pleasant not fancy which I like and felt like home. I did not feel like I had to clean it everyday and watch out for possible spills etc

We would relax and enjoy the outdoor indoor living.

We have stayed at SS for over 30 years and really like the quieter side looking over Tigertail! We also like this layout with the balconies off both bedrooms and living area that makes the condo feel even more spacious.

Having said that I found Louise to be extremely accommodating as we requested to arrive a day earlier than planned and our request was graciously accepted as the condo was vacant. That extra day was extremely beneficial to make the vacation complete .

I do plan to visit Marco every year following in my mother and her sisters footsteps . Our adult daughters are also continuing the tradition.

The best!!!

I've stayed at another condo but this one is by far my favorite! I felt so at home, the view of the ocean was to die for, and everything was clean. Can't wait to go back. Not interested in staying anywhere else.

Well equipped and amazing views

The owner was great to work with. Very responsive to emails and questions. People, the sunset views don't get better than they are from this balcony. People line the beaches and you can watch it in peace on your own balcony and all the people outside on this side of building applaud it when it happens. Ice maker in room is a nice upgrade, many don't have this in these buildings. Bed was very comfortable. Overall a+. When we go back to Marco we will consider this property again unless we buy a spot to call our own.

A great stay!

I loved my two vacations here. Cozy, comfortable, clean. Perfect location and with great views of the Gulf. The deck is fantastic! Unfortunately, this placed was already booked this year and we had to find another place to stay but this will always be our favorite!

Marco is great but this apartment is a complete turn off

The living room is small even though the mirror on the wall makes it look huge in the pictures posted on this site. The apartment is also very outdated with appliances that don't properly work. Shower door in master bathroom doesn't close/move. When you try a bit harder to move it black stuff starts coming out of the door rails. Yuck! The shower in the second bathroom makes so much noise when you take a shower that it wakes up everyone in the condo. So, no early morning or late night showers unless you want your toddlers to wake up. Sheets in master bed cigarette burn marks holes. Blinds are so worn out that anytime you open them , slats from the blinds fall on the floor. We stopped opening/closing the blinds. Apartment is so humid that the popcorn ceiling is falling off in the hallway. Laundry machines are so worn out that it takes hours to do a load of laundry. On top of this, the owner returned the deposit 2 weeks late and still deducted $25 for "excess" laundry even though we showed them pictures of only a day's worth of laundry, as per contract. THe owner promissed to speak to their housekeeper but of course we never heard back from her. Would never go again to her condo. Hopefully this review will prompt the owner to make repairs because it certainly wasn't worth the money we spent to stay in her condo. We could have spent half the amount we paid the owner had we stayed at a motel with the same conditions.

Owner's Response: What a sad review and not a very fair one. I am sorry this guest has negative feelings about his stay at my condo which really is my little piece of heaven in this world. I wish I had received a call while the guest was in the condo - or even a com[plaint after he left about anything that was not right in the condo. This is what I received On Monday, January 4, 2016 "Hi Louise, Happy New Year! Thanks for letting us stay in your condo! We had a great time in Marco! Also, I just dropped the keys in the mail (had an early flight yesterday with connections) so you should get them sometime this week. Thanks, Al I understand it is upsetting to be charged anything extra after a vacation but if i get charged I have to pass on the expense. I did mail the return on Feb 20 Per the contract I have 6 weeks - but I try to do it within 4. This cleaning person has been with me for many years and has only charged that fee 3 times. I scheduled someone to check the bathroom shower door, It will be replaced if needed. I appreciate knowing there was a problem but I had not been made aware. I ask guests to please let me know if anything needs to be fixed or replaced because I do not get there often enough and my cleaning people do not vacation in the condo. I would have fixed anything as soon as he complained had he told me there was a problem. My blinds do have 3 annoying pieces that fall out when the directions to open are not followed. It is now on my list to fix. My heater and air conditioner are new in 2015 so I have no idea why the unit was humid - that has never been mentioned to me or experienced by me. Had the guest called me I could have told him how to work the humidifier - maybe that was the problem. I have owned this condo for over 20 years and have never received one negative comment about it from any other renter. It is admittedly not as current as some units which have been renovated(nor as expensive), but I keep it very clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything a person needs to have a great vacation. The kitchen is well stocked and my appliances all work just fine - not brand new but not at all old either. The sheets were checked - no burn holes - I ask that guests do not smoke in the condo. Most of my guests tell me they enjoyed their stay very much as did this guest, and many return year after year.
