Come relax in this well-appointed, modern and comfortable apartment in the beautifully landscaped El Soto de Marbella urbanization in the rural coastal hills of the Elviria area of Marbella, part of a UNESCO biosphere reserve.

The centrally air-conditioned apartment accomodates up to six people in two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living area with Smart TV/home theater system and sleeper sofa and love seat, 6-person dining table, fully equipped kitchen, utility room with washer and large terrace from which you will enjoy spectacular views of the Mediterranean coast, Sierra Nevada and the golf course from the sitting area or from the 6-person patio table. Both bedrooms have built-in closets with drawers and the master has an en suite bath with walk-in shower and jacuzzi bath tub and a king-size bed, the second bedroom has two twin beds. Free 100MB fibre optic broadband internet with dedicated Wifi router and ~150 national/international television channels.

The apartment has an elevator that goes from the parking garage to the apartment entrance with no steps.

At ‘El Soto’ complex tenants enjoy free access to amenities including four pools, clubhouse, executive golf course, fitness center, tennis, paddle, ping-pong,boules/petanca court and children’s playground. El Soto Restaurant and clubhouse is a few minutes walk and features a relaxing and fun atmosphere with organized events and beautiful terrace dining with outstanding views, hot tub/spa, sauna, fitness center and dressing rooms.

We always knew we wanted to have an apartment in Spain and fell in love with this one because of the high quality facilities and tranquil surroundings while still being so close to shopping, restaurants, beaches, cultural attractions, and our favorite activities—Ed playing golf and skiing, and I playing tennis.

We could not have found a more quiet and neat apartment, everything brand new and as described in the adverticement. The garden are gorgeus,and very well maintain, a luxury, only heard birds of all kinds, it is true you need a car to go down to Marbella (10 minutes) but worth it, in return you can enjoy absolute privacy and golf club within walking distance.

We missed a few stools in the kitchen but nothing more; agency reception, cleaning, supplies, decoration, very good. It was sad not being able to spend more time,

No podíamos haber encontrado un apartamento mas tranquilo y cuidado, todo a estrenar y tal y como lo describe el anuncio.Los jardines preciosos, y tan cuidados ¡¡ , un lujo,solo se oían pajaritos de todo tipo alrededor.Cierto que necesitas coche para bajar a Marbella ( 10 mts ) pero vale la pena, a cambio se disfruta de una privacidad absoluta y el club de golf a un paso.

Echamos de menos unos taburetes en la cocina pero nada más;La recepción de la agencia, limpieza,útiles,decoración,realmente bien.Una pena no haber podido pasar mas tiempo, gracias.

comfortable well equipped apartment

Enjoyable week in this well equipped comfortable apartment which is well located to explore Andalucia. The local management team were excellent in their reception arrangements, response to some minor problems in the apartment, etc.

The El Soto development was rather disappointing - the "golf course" was in fact a short pitch & putt course ; the gym / spa was in need of refurbishment (worn, poorly functioning gym equipment & sauna / steam rooms unavailable) ; there was no heated pool. The Sunday carvery in the restaurant was good value with plentiful, freshly prepared vegetables.

As per the golf course we do have in our description that it is an executive golf course, which at least in the USA means "a three par golf course". I guess we will have to made that clarification on the description. As per the state of El Soto, we hope it was just temporary and I will make sure to pass your opinion to our community president. Beautiful apartment- situated in a stunning yet peaceful location.

We have just returned from a week’s holiday to El Soto de Marbella and we will definitely be returning.The apartment has everything you could wish for and we enjoyed cooking most nights after buying fresh produce from the many varied supermarkets nearby. There is also a lovely clubhouse that serves great food if you don’t want to cook.

A car is a must to get around as the apartment is situated at the top of a hill however this really wasn’t a problem for us and meant that the apartment has the most amazing views that you can enjoy from the balcony.

The weather was fantastic and we were able to enjoy using one of the many beautifully clean swimming pools that was situated just next to our apartment.

The complex really is a beautifully peaceful place and we were looked after so well by Claudia who met us on arrival and then sent a maintenance man to help us when I managed to lock us out of the apartment! He was there within half an hour and we were very grateful.

All in all it has been a fantastic family holiday and I would highly recommend. Thank you Ed and Lola.

A relaxing stay

A high quality rental in a peaceful development. Great views from shady balcony and a convenient location just far enough by car from the commercialized coastal strip.

Comfortable bed and great WiFi and TV made it home from home and even though the building rules appeared strict they were good approach to limiting noise from above.

A home from home in a stunning location

This was our 3rd year of staying in this beautiful apartment and having only been back 3 days, we have already booked next years dates with Lola.

The apartment has everything you could need including a washing machine/dishwasher/iron board with iron/ tv and free wifi, is very clean and well maintained, has electronic shutters which are ideal for keeping it cool despite the A/C (plus shutting early sun out when a lay in is needed!) not to mention making the apartment secure, underground parking and most importantly, is extremely homely so much so, my 5 year old daughter now calls it her "spainish home!"

When we arrived, we realised the A/C wasn't very cold so I emailed the Maintenance people that evening after we had settled into the apartment and they arrived the following morning @ 10am and it was fixed within half an hour.

It is set in a stunning location overlooking the golf course, mountains and the beautiful Mijas in the distance. There are a number of pools to choose from including a large heated one and none of them are overcrowded or noisey. You are able to use the 9 hole golf course for free as there are clubs at the apartment therefore my Husband and 9 year old son had many a round.

We would highly recommend the El Soto restaurant on site which puts on great entertainment including tribute bands and Flamenco dancing. The food is very good too and includes a great kiddies menu. They also do 2 for 1 nights for fish and chips, steaks plus a lovely BBQ in the summer months.

We cannot recommend this gorgeous apartment highly enough and we thank Lola & Ed for allowing us to share their Spainish home yet again.

We had a wonderful 2.5 week long holiday at Lola's place. Everything was as described and as the photos show. The whole compound is very well looked after. Beautiful gardens. Pools were not crowed, always enough of sunbeds. And the view is unbeatable. Absolutely fantastic!

Note: the heated pool is the highest pool on the compound. Our children loved it.

Golf course gives you possibility to practise your short game. We used it daily in the evenings. In the club there's a fantastic Brtitish (speaks Spanish too) golf coach Tom, who was good with our shy 9yo daughter too.

You can also play tennis, paddle tennis and pentanque for free. Rackets can be borrowed from the club. The club restaurant is also nice and it had shows in the evenings too.

The view from the balcony is beautiful and I wish I could attach here a photo of the sunrise! The apartment stays very cool even during a hot day (we had 36c one day) because it doesn't get any direct sunshine, so no need for a/c even during the night.

Beach is 15 min drive away. We recommend the restaurant El Laurel by the beach down Avenida Espana. Delicious fish and other sea food. The Italian Rosmarino had good Italian food, nice and friendly service and very affordable set menu for lunch.

Two supermarkets down the road, 10min drive. Also a pharmacy and medical clinic in the same area. And many other restaurants.

And, Lola, the owner, very helpful, quick in responding, and gives lots of extra information. Thanks! :) we seriously consider your place next summer too!

For people who rent a bigger car: the parking space in the garage is small. We unfurtunately had a big car and also a big car next to us, and we consider ourselves good drives, but it was hard work to park the car. It took at least 10min. So we left the car mostly outside by the gate.

I am sorry about the parking spot. We never had issues with it because the parking next to us it was never used since is the one from the apartment below that it was empty even without furnatures. I am not sure if they sold it or somebody else used it. Unfortynaly we can't do anything about the space we have. Only I will remember to let guess know from now on and write a note on the website description. Thank you for let us know!!!

perfect location near the "hotspots

"we had a marvellous week in el Soto and enjoyed Elviria (beautiful Rosmarino and a fine coffeshop/brasserie), CaboPino with the beatiful boardwalk. we made nice trips to Marbella (old town) and especially Cadiz, Estepona, Veger de la Frontera! The appartment is great, well equipped and maintained! we will definitely come back!

Enjoy the Sierra de las Nieves natural park. It is located in the rural hills behind Marbella. The park covers an extensive area of 202 km². This mountainous area has a rich variety of flora and fauna.The park was declared a National Hunting Reserve and by UNESCO declared a Biosphere Reserve.There is an activity for everyone there!

Amazonia Adventure Park, a treetop Advanture Park just located 5 minutes from the apartment.

Many different Themes Parks around Marbella area.

The old town of Marbella is a typical small Andalusian town with narrow streets,white walls and a town square called the Orange Square with cute boutiques with hand made clothing and jewelry, local cafés,restaurants and bars where you can shop and relax. The old castle wall and the Cathedral are worth it a visit. If you go the second week of June, make sure to visit the Marbella 'Feria' or Festival.

If you are a tennis lover, we are 3 minutes from Hofsaess Tennis Academy! If you are a golf lover, we have our 9 hole par 3 golf course on site, but there are many other courses less then 15 minutes from the apartment like La Cala Golf Resort and Golf Academy. The apartment is also also 3 minutes from the Deutsche Schule Juan Hoffman.

Refundable Damage Deposit £177.73

Broadband internet / Wifi included in rent; free use of complex par 3 executive golf course (2 partial sets of irons in apartment), gym, tennis, boules/petanca/bocce, paddle, spa, sauna & steam room.

First payment 150 Euros due at time of booking. The rest 60 days prior arrival date. Cancelation 60 days before arrival date. Damage deposit of 200 Euros returned 3-5 business days after stay.

Standard check in 2-5pm and check out by 10am Central European Time. Incremental charges of 30 Euros for late (5-9pm) or 50 Euros for after hours (after 9pm) arrivals.

You must show official identification documents for all guests before gaining access to the apartment and we are required to maintain copies. Please bring and hardcopies of your ID documents to the greeter at your check in and show your original official identification documents (passport, national ID,...). Not having document copies will delay entry and incur additional costs.
