My sunny and light south facing cottage is a charming retreat. It has a very private garden and is furnished with my family antiques from England. It is a walk to the beach and to the village. It has 2+ bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchen-dining room with french doors onto a patio under an awning. The large laundry room has a murphy bed and can be used to sleep a guest. Other amenities include wifi, air conditioning, an outdoor shower, tables and chairs, a grill and luxurious teak loungers with thick white cushions. RR#: 16-49

It's a peaceful and friendly cottage to live in.
The realtor had said that she thought the cottage was too small for me but that she'd show me anyway. When I walked in, after all the small houses I'd seen with identical doors, cabinets, closets, bathrooms and windows, I saw immediately that this charming cottage, and lovely garden—not overlooked on any side—was just the place for me and my son! So we moved in and furnished it with some of my family antiques from England. Every year I upgrade it. Last year the bathroom, previously with an outside shower and extended patio, wrought iron gates in the garden, and a gate on the driveway.
Last summer, we rented this lovely cottage for the season while renovating our house nearby. It turned out to be a magical getaway. The house is a lovely oasis minutes from both the beach and town. If we didn’t have our own house, this is the type of place I could see going back to year after year.
My Amagansett Cottage is a walk to the beach. The Amagansett village offers a diversity of shops, antique shops, an excellent free library with a variety of events, Miss Amelia's 1725 cottage, yoga and gyms, Hampton Chutney for a dosa and more in Amagansett's central square, Mary's Marvelous for your beach picnic, Sotta Sopra for dining, just a few among many other fine eateries and Amagansett Wines for a world class selection.
