The beauty of the valley will hold your heart forever. I chose this location to inspire my writing. I'm betting it will inspire you too.
The simplicity of sitting on the deck enjoying the view, conversation and a your beverage of choice will win the hearts of anyone who visits our chalet. Our great room is perfect for special occasions, grand meals and family get -to -gethers.
Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home. The aspen were wonderful and in full, Fall color. We accidently broke one of your drinking glasses. So sorry. We hope to make this a yearly trip. Till then.

We had a great time gathering with friends and family at the lodge. The house was roomy and comfortable for all. The views were spectacular!! Some of us stayed in, others went out to nearby Cooper and Nordic center. We all got what we needed and came back together in the evening for quality time. I highly recommend this place!
Our "Mountain Gang" from Missouri greatly enjoyed staying in the Lone Pine Lodge. The well furnished chalet was very comfortable and served as our base camp as we experienced many Colorado activities in the area. IE: Fishing, Rafting the Arkansas, Princeton Hot Springs, the train ride to the Climax mine from Leadville, climbing Mount Huron, more fishing, visiting the Leadville mining museum, shopping and enjoying main street of Leadville. In addition to enjoying eating at various restaurants in both Leadville and Buena Vista, the Lone Pine Lodge kitchen and dining room provided everything we needed to enjoy eating and fellowshipping together. Everyone had a great experience and enjoyed the opportunity to stay in the wonderful and beautiful cabin/chalet of the Lone Pine Lodge. Thank you. Dana Reynard, Mexico, MO.
Great home in a very quiet secluded location, exactly as described and seen in the pictures.
this was a very nice place to stay, the directions were clear for everything operationally. Home away app makes the info a little confusing, but once your in, its a relaxing, well kept place. Its not quite as close to the lake as it appears on the map or in photos, but still walking distant. Paul was helpful, the privacy was great.
Really nice place, has everything you can think of.Very spacious with good beds . Very clean.
I recommend the drive to Aspen going over Independence Pass , gorgeous scenic ride .

Really enjoyed this cabin. I enjoyed the isolation and views. Seems like a cabin built in the 1980s that was lived in at one time but is now a rental.
I couldn't sleep well the first night because the cabin was hot when I arrived and some of the Windows wouldn't stay open. After reading the directions the next day we were great. Another problem I had was twice (two different nights) a rabbit fell down inside the window well at night and kept trying to come through the screen. There was a dead rabbit in the window well. I rescued the rabbit each time.
Pros: comfortable and spacious cabin. Slept 7 comfortably. More if you use the stair mattresses.
Cons: some minor maintenance and upkeep needed.
Would recommend fixing the window ballasts and a cover to keep the rabbits out of the window well
We offer easy access to off road trails. Bring your ATV's and Quad runners. Twin lakes Village is open in the summer. They offer fishing supplies/license, gas, lodging, small shops, canoeing and parking.
