Our 1936 triplex is in a fantastic area just south of Hollywood & West Hollywood. Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment features 1600 square feet of family friendly luxury on the ground floor or our small bulding and a small outdoor front yard! We cater to families and hope to welcome you to our home for your LA Vacation.
We are a 100% non-smoking property inside and out (including yards).
We require stays of 5 nights or longer. Shorter stays will incur additional charges if exceptions are approved. Approval is not guaranteed but feel free to inquire.
We are not a "party house" and do not allow events (weddings, parties, fundraisers, etc..) at our property. We have great respect for our neighbors and make sure we do not allow usage of our home that would interfere with the peace and quiet of our residential neighborhood and our beautifully historic older buildings other residents. We appreciate your understanding.

We are in a Historically Preserved neighborhood that is in a very "walkable" part of LA with great shopping, restaurants, parks & The Grove shopping center just minutes away on foot! We are centrally located between the San Fernando Valley and the Beach. Only 6 miles from the Film Studios in Burbank (Warner Brothers & Universal) and 10 miles to the beach and the airport in the other direction. We are right around the corner from Paramount Studios as well as CBS Studios and the heart of Hollywood (Hollywood & Highland) just 2 miles north. Nearby sights include Hollywood's Walk of Fame, Grauman's Chinese, The Dolby Theatre (home of the Oscar's), The Wax Museum and Ripley's Believe it or Not, Staples Center, Dodger's stadium, the Sunset Strip, Pantages Theatre, the Wiltern, the El Rey, Beverly Hills & Rodeo Drive and Downtown LA (Chinatown, Grand Market, Little Tokyo). Nearby museums include LACMA, MOCA, The Broad, Natural History, LaBrea Tar Pits.

I am originally from the East Coast via Philadelphia & New York and settled in Los Angeles in 1999. I met my husband, originally from LA, in Los Angeles and we have a young son. I have worked in Entertainment for much of my adult life in both Music and Film. I also love design and real estate and owning Vacation Rentals has been a wonderful experience for me.
We bought this property in 2001 after living in the neighborhood for years. We lovingly renovated and restored it to its 1936 grandeur and added all the conveniences of modern living.
The location of this property cannot be beat. We are truly in the heart of everything yet still in a quiet residential neighborhood. You can walk to a lot but come home to the peaceful tree-lined street where neighbors walk their kids and dogs and chat with each other as locals do.
Just wanted to express our thanks for letting us use your accomodations -- it is in a beautiful locale! Thank you as well for going the extra mile and sending back the swimsuits we left behind...we will certainly give you a shout when we return again (hopefully next year).
This property turned up to be a very pleasant surprise. The location is excellent, very close to the grove mall (which my kids love) and all the other perks L.A. has to offer. The neighborhood was very safe and quiet and the check in process was a breeze.
The unit itself was spacious and very clean when we arrived and Sharlotte (the landlord) was very friendly and easy to reach.
We spent 4 weeks there and my kids loved it, I would definitely recommend this property and stay there again in my future visits.
This property met our needs perfectly. I was traveling to LA with my 21 year old daughter and elderly parents for my son's wedding. We had lots to do and needed space. We were all very comfortable. This location is absolutely perfect, within walking distance to the Farmers Market and Grove. It is beautifully decorated and well appointed, and the owner responded promptly and courteously when I emailed, called or texted before as well as during our stay. (There was a very minor plumbing problem that was dealt with swiftly and completely.) I would absolutely stay here again, or at another of this owner's properties.
This wonderful property has all the best. Sharlotte was great to deal with. The location can not be beat. We used Uber and drove to all the area attractions. The rental itself was clean, clean, clean. Plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was gorgeous with everything you need for a meal in. Also the internet was fast and reliable. Already planning a trip back to this beautiful property.
Beautiful, comfortable home in a wonderful area. Sharlotte was so helpful with suggestions. She even helped me find a battery for my camera ( I left mine home by accident. My family had plenty of room and privacy. Thank you and hope to see you again soon!
We were a family of 5 and were very comfortable staying at this house. The TVs in each room with Netflix were a hit with the kids at the end of the day. The beds were comfortable, the parking space made coming home easy, the WiFi worked well, and no issue arriving or departing. We would definitely stay here again.
We traveled to LA with our three teenage children and it was perfect. Very spacious and very clean. Sharlotte was very pleasant to deal with and always accessible for any questions I may have had. We would definetly stay here again if we were to come back to LA. You can't go wrong it is close to everything.

A 5 minute drive to the East is the quaint Larchmont Village. A 'local' spot for a fabulous Sunday Farmer's market, many restaurants and great coffee shops & ice cream shops as well as some wonderful local specialty shops.
You are only 2 miles from the Heart of Hollywood. See the sights on Hollywood's Walk of Fame, stop by Grauman's Chinese Theatre to see the handprints of the Stars, The Wax Museum and Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum are always great fun as well.
For shopping and the occasional celebrity spotting take a 5 minute stroll West to The Grove at Farmers Market, only a few blocks away. Next to the Grove is Pan Pacific Park where you can run, relax, and picnic. There are several playgrounds for the kids, and many fields for soccer, baseball & more. The Original Farmer's Market, established in 1934 is nearby at 3rd & Fairfax. It has both fresh produce every day as well as great restaurants of all types, from Parisian crepes to Mexican tacos, to Indonesian fare, Brazilian dishes and more. The whole family can find something they like with the variety at this outdoor market.
A morning hike at nearby Runyan Canyon is a must for the vacationer as is a scenic drive on Mullholland Drive. Lookout points along the drive will give you amazing views you've only seen in the movies of both Los Angeles and 'the Valley'. Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Six Flags at Magic Mountain are all within a 45 minute drive. Universal Studios City Walk & Theme Park are a mere 15 minutes away. You can even take the subway there from Hollywood!
There are many great restaurants at The Grove as well as on Beverly Boulevard and LaBrea that are within walking distance.
If you are interested in sporting events, theater, concerts or other live music events, we are located within 5-15 minutes from the Staples Center & Nokia theatre, Dodger's stadium, the world famous Sunset Strip, the Kodak Theater (home to the Oscar's), the Pantages Theatre, the Wiltern, the El Rey, the Hollywood Palladium and many many more.
We are equidistant from the Bob Hope airport in Burbank and LAX International airport. We are about 10 miles from horseback riding at Griffith Park and 10 miles to the Beaches in the other direction.
Explore the 'non-Hollywood' part of LA too nearby and treat yourself to the rich traditions and cuisines in nearby Thai town, Korea Town, China Town & Little Tokyo.
Los Angeles also boasts a thriving art and cultural community and we are nearby the Los Angeles Contemporary Museum of Art as well as the Geffen at MOCA, the Disney Center, The LA Museum of Natural History, the LA Tar Pits & Paige Museum and the Los Angeles Zoo.
