Great location for a laid-back vacation. We loved it, and would stay again!
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. Much appreciated.
Amazing location!! Better than expected. One of my favorite places we have stayed at in Bermuda! 10/10
Thank you so much for staying with us! Much appreciated.
The smith cottage was perfect for our anniversary. It was everything I had hoped for. We love St George and spent most of our time in St George. Perfect perfect spot. We hoped to visit the smith cottage again
We are so glad you had a lovely visit. We look forward to your next visit. Thank you.
Perfect spot in the middle of this quaint parish.
If I could live here I would. Swimming off the steps into the water, laying in the perfectly manicured garden, mere steps to everything in town. We will be back for sure, we've always loved St Geo and now we've found the perfect place to live it from.
Thank you for staying at our property. It was a pleasure meeting you both.. We are so glad you enjoyed the property and St,Georges. We look forward to your return visit. With warm regards Nicki
We are frequent visitors to the island. We just can't stay away. We usually stay in Hamilton or along the South shore. This was our first venture to the East end but not our last. Our first impression was how private the property is, even though it's smack in the middle of St. George. Walls on either side define the property and keep out the noise. The cottage is charming and perfect for two people. The beautiful succulent garden fronts on the harbor and provides amazing. views of St. Davids across the way. The cottage is fully outfitted and has everything you'll need for simple meals. Nicki, our host and manager was quick to respond to every need (few) and every request (several). She is charming and energetic and went out of her way to make our stay memorable.
Buses to everywhere are less than two blocks away. The grocery is three and is small but well stocked for vacationers. There are four fine dining restaurants within a two minute walk from the cottage. The main square is also just two minutes away. The ferry to Dockyard is a four minute walk. Shopping is too good and too close.
Takeaways: early morning coffee on the bench overlooking the harbor; afternoon cocktails on the patio; napping on the hammock in the shade; sticking our feet in the water at the foot of the bulkhead stairs and watching the parrot fish swimming by (bring your swimsuit).
After two dozen trips to Bermuda, we are ready to forego the high end accommodations we've frequented and plan to return to elegant simplicity of Smith Cottage.
Thank you so much for your review.

St. Georges is a World Heritage Centre with wonderful historical fortifications within walking distance, fabulous pink beaches where you can relax, snorkel or swim.
Relax with the locals in the Town Hall and Square where you can watch the dunking of the local gossip in the harbor.
A ferry ride to Royal Naval Dockyard, a must see The Commissioners House and the Dolphins.
