This beautiful guest house is located on 8000sq. feet property. Guests have full access to big, gated backyard and can enjoy salt water pool and BBQ.

The property is located only couple kilometers away from big grocery store, banks, doctor's office, pharmacy and Chefette restaurant - famous local fast-food.

The most famous beach in Barbados and the world - Crane Beach - is located about 10 minutes by car. So is one that is mostly enjoyed by both tourists and locals - Enterprise Beach also known as Miami beach. This beach is know for its beauty and calm water and is located very close to little town of Oistins. This fishing town is famous for its Friday and Saturday Fish Fry and brings tourists from all over Barbados.

Airport is located about 7-10 minutes by car. All main highways are also within few minutes drive. Those provide easy access to the town of Bridgetown or the fabulous West coast beaches!

Quiet, clean and family friendly...was all we needed when selecting this property for our stay

The property had the ideal location for us, not far from the airport and located on the east side of the island where we spent majority of our time exploring the natural wonders of the island. the price was reasonable. The layout of the apartment was functional and the bedrooms were on either side of the living room which allowed for privacy. The apartment was modern and well equipped with kitchen wares and appliances. There were 3 adults that stayed in the apartment Including myself but in my opinion the apartment could comfortably hold 4 adults. More than 4 persons and the apartment may become crowded especial with there being 1 toilet and bath. Every morning we woke up to the sound of birds singing which was quite relaxing and the neighborhood is very quiet. Ms Elizabeth was a wonderful host, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying at her property when we plan our next visit to the island.

A Lovely Place to Stay

Staying at this guest house in St. Philip, Barbados, was a very smart decision... a perfect home away from home for my family of five. We were four adults and one child and the accommodations were very comfortable; we had more than enough room. Air conditioning was available but we managed to do without it as there were ceiling fans in the bedrooms and portable fans in the living area. The kitchen and bathroom were both fully equipped and with a trip to the nearby supermarket, we were able to stock the fridge for our short, 5-day stay. The salt water pool was AMAZING!! We spent the mornings working on our own island project and then came back to the house to relax in the pool. It was so refreshing. For us, the pool was the best feature on the property. The patio area where the pool is situated is grand and very well kept. We took advantage of the barbecue and even did a load of laundry. The early morning and evening breezes on the front veranda turned out to be the ideal place to either plan the day ahead or reflect on the day gone by. A neighbour taxi driver was available to take us wherever we wanted or needed to go: Miami Beach, Oistins, Emerald City or back to the airport. All of these points were within a short drive from the house. The neighbourhood was quiet and pleasant and the WiFi connection was fast and reliable. My only regret was that I didn't get to meet Elizabeth, the owner, who graciously makes her home available to others so that they can have an enjoyable vacation.

I've been to Barbados many times and rental property is the way to go being much more economical than a hotel stay and Elizabeth's house in St. Philip is a great choice. This is my first experience with VRBO and, thanks to Elizabeth's guest house, it was a delight: trouble-free and easy. I would recommend VRBO to anyone looking for a vacation rental property. I will definitely go this route again and look forward to my next visit to Barbados.

Fabulous Rental

My husband who is totally blind and I decided to go to Barbados for a 2 month winter holiday. I feel so lucky to have chosen Elizabeth's guest home. Unlike some of the sites for rent Elizabeth's is identical if not better when you arrive in person to what is advertised on the site. We absolutely loved every minute of it. The house was immaculate, had everything we needed for our 2 months and was in a quiet residential area, away from the "touristy" parts but close enough to get to a beach or fine dining in 1/2 hour. We did not rent a car but if you want to be on the go daily or at the beach I would suggest it. We, however, love the pool area and spent most afternoons there, The landscaping is beautiful and Elizabeth does so much work to make sure it stays that way. My husband is a great walker and we found he could walk down the street because it is very quiet with only locals driving through which made it very safe for him. I can' stress enough how wonderful Elizabeth and her home is. So much so we have now rented it for next year for 2 3/4 months. Can't wait to get back Elizabeth.

Benton Ridge

Lovely Property!

We were very comfortable at this beautifully landscaped property and enjoyed our visit! The pool was the perfect temperature, and we enjoyed many late night swims. We were close to many beaches, but our favorite by far, was Pebble Beach, which was a little further away, but worth the drive. Only 15 minutes away from Oistins, which is a "must visit"...WONDERFUL food! The owner, Elizabeth, is a lovely, gracious lady and we enjoyed a morning on the front porch chatting with her. She was very helpful with any questions we had about the area. We would love to come back and visit.
