Location: Grand Lake St. Mary's, Ohio, Celina, USA, (60 Miles from Dayton, Ohio 90 Miles from Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio) Reservations now accepted for the 2023 season that started March 1, 2023.

Accommodations: Lake house sleeps up to 6 comfortably with two bedrooms and a pullout.

Beautiful lake front view from deck within 5 feet of the water. A rare 16 foot fishing dock that extends into the lake. Great for fishing, sunbathing, taking in the view, and daytime boat docking. Dock is removed for the winter each year from November 1 to March 1. (Now in)

Relax on the large, comfortable deck with homemade coffee in the morning and with a grilled steak and a drink in the evening.

Rest in the comfortable beds with clean linen that is furnished. For weekly guests the washer and dryer are great.

The cottage is bright, comfortable, fully furnished with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area down to the matching set of dishes, with newer appliances including a coffee pot, toaster, microwave and a flat top range plus full size fridge plus dishes, cookware and dinnerware..

There is a TV-DVD player with DVDs available. There is also a supply of books for your reading enjoyment.

eclipse 2024

We came from Florida and Alabama to be in the line of totality for the 2024 eclipse. Based on the reviews/comments, I expected a cozy, well-loved home on the lake; we definitely found this to be true. The lake view through the windows is magnetic, and the inside and outside were clean and comfortable…home-y. The owners had made sure we understood how things worked and where things were, through handy notes and instructions. We had brought supplies we thought we’d need, but nothing was really necessary except ourselves and our personal effects. The kitchen is snug, but well-equipped if you prefer to cook (grocery stores are nearby); and there are local menus and recommendations if you don’t. We grew up in this area, and The Lake House really felt like home. Thank you, Mr Al and Ms Cathy.

Lakehouse serenity

A quaint retro lake cottage with old fashioned charm. Warming and welcoming..the greatest view of the lake. This place is good for anyone wanting to enjoy a lakeview and to destress from daily life. Worth your time. No frills, just basic lakelife serenity. I absolutely love this hidden gem for a vacation retreat. You absolutely feel like the water is at your door.

Time by the water

It was a traditional lake cabin of old. Not fancy, but very comfortable and convenient. We would stay there again.

We are a recently retired couple that could not stay retired who love to travel and enjoy water front properties ourselves. We have rented to guests year round from all parts of the country. We do get great comments on the accommodations and the lake area.

Why they chose this property

We both grew up in the area. It is an entertaining and restful area with great restaurants, taverns and parks in the area. The in-the-lake dock is great for sun bathing, fishing, viewing the sun rise or sun sets, or just relaxing. In addition, the large deck equipped with with a table and 6 chairs is just 5 feet from the lake shore.

What makes this property unique

The view of the lake is breathtaking, especially in the moon light and with the morning sunrise. The convenience and great quality of the nearby restaurants as well as the fully equipped kitchen add to the stay. The fishing from the 16 foot dock is exceptional. The deck just 5 feet from the shore, is so relaxing and a great place for gatherings especially with the attached fire pit
