Delightful 3 double bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment located centrally in a beautiful car-free mountain village of Mürren (1650 m)
Perched on a high, sunny terrace facing the famous Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, the village is the highest altitude ski resort in the Bernese Oberland. It nestles at the foot of the Schilthorn with its revolving Piz Gloria Restaurant, made world-famous in the James Bond film On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
In summer, Mürren is the perfect place from which to start a host of hikes.
You can reach Mürren from Lauterbrunnen or from Stechelberg by cable car.
Accommodation consists of 3 double bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 shower room. A large living room, separate kitchen and additional dining area. Internet available. Stunning views. Central location in village.
Fantastic chalet accommodation, exactly as we had hoped, plenty of wood panelling and traditional Swiss charm but with well equipped kitchens and bathrooms perfect for our stay.
The views from the balcony were truly breathtaking and changed constantly depending on the weather, we loved the fact that we could watch paragliders below us!! The location of the chalet was ideal, less than a 5 minute walk from Murren train station and about the same distance from the Schilthorn cable car at the other end of the village.
We were met from the station by Sue, who gave us an interesting insight into the history of the village en route to the chalet where she gave us the keys and all the information we needed. Anne-Marie also checked in on us halfway through and at the end of our stay, we could not have asked for more!
We were very sad to have to leave and would highly recommend the chalet.
Apartment in the centre of Murren well placed for Summer and Winter Sports
