Why Janice chose Town Hill
My husband and I spent many summers here until we decided to move here in 1989. We love Acadia National Park and the towns on MDI. (And fresh lobster of course). Spend your vacation at our rental property and I'm sure you'll fall in love with Maine too!
Great location for everything you might want to do & see on MDI!
We rented this unit the week before Memorial Day. This was a great time to visit and beat the crowds. What a wonderful location to get to all the highlights in the area. Janice was very accommodating and concerned that everything was right for us.
The house is very well equipped and comfortable. It has everything you need for an extended stay. Next time we visit the area we will definitely try to rent this unit again.
Quiet but not far from the action
The house is well set up for 3 couples. It was clean and well supplied with everything we needed. Bar Harbor and Acadia are a short drive away. There's a nice general store less than a mile away and the free bus stops there too. We spent more time on the quiet side of Mt. Desert Island and all of those sites were easy to get to also. This house was perfect for what we wanted to do, which was get up and have coffee and breakfast then spend the days hiking and sight-seeing and swimming. Come home and clean up and go out for a meal or fix our own meal at home. This house was perfect for our group and a great value. Janice was very easy to communicate with also.
about 5 miles to Acadia National Park Visitor's Center. Catch the Island Explorer free bus and go virtually anywhere on the island!
