Simply wonderful!

We recently returned from our Barbados vacation. Our 8-night stay at the Thomasville Apartment was enjoyable. What can I say? Halum you were right...we loved it! The property is well-maintained, clean, located in a lovely neighborhood that provides ease of access to several of Barbados' most beautiful beaches and other fun activities. The Property Manager, Nigel, is superb. He is professional, courteous, and extremely responsive. We look forward to staying here again!

Great location and Value

My young family and I had the pleasure of staying at Halum's apartment in Christ Church in January 2018. The apartment is in an excellent location, both in a quiet and safe neighbourhood and walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants and beautiful Worthing beach (Dover and Accra beaches are also very close). I would recommend this apartment to those looking for a pleasant alternative to resort vacations. I look forward to our next vacation in Barbados :)

Close to everything, friendly locals, amazing beach and nice apartment!

I stayed for a week at the end of April with my wife and 2 year old daughter. We will definitely return! The apartment was basic but had everything we could possibly need for a week long stay. The kitchen was well equipped with all appliances and utensils you could possibly need. The internet connection is fast, we streamed Netflix on one evening in HD quality no problem. The 2 bedrooms have good aircon, the rooms were cool within 10 minutes of switching on and they both have ample storage space. The bathroom has a large shower cubicle which was nice after a long day at the beach.

Walking down the main road towards shops and beach was easy, although daunting at first, especially with a child in a buggy. The path is broken in places, however 1 trip down was enough to realise that the drivers are very courteous and careful negotiating in around pedestrians. The supermarket is 10 minutes walk, the beach 15 to 20 depending on where you go but i recommend turning left at the bottom of the road and going along to the main part of Worthing beach that has showers, sunbeds and a beach bar, restaurants nearby....oh and lots of turtles swimming around!

Halum was very helpful and answered questions very promptly. The taxi driver arranged by Halum, Dabs, was great and we called on him during our stay for trips out.

Nigel the property manager was helpful and can be reached easily during your stay, not that we needed to.

Overall I think we got a feel for the real Barbados staying here that we wouldn't have got in a hotel, not to mention a lot cheaper as this apartment is great value. We felt safe the entire time and I can honestly say that Bajans are the most friendly and welcoming people I have ever met.

Pleasant Stay

We rented this unit from March 1-22, 2017. The apartment was clean with nice decor and all the amenities one needs to live and cook comfortably. The manager, Nigel, was polite and responsive. The unit was secured well (e.g. motion activated lights), and the area was safe and very quiet. Shopping and the beach are close by (about 8-10 minutes walk).

Lovely house in nice street and on bus route.

We had a great week in this lovely home. The owner and the caretaker are very friendly and helpful. The local worthing beach is lovely, with good bars and restaurant. Very good value for money stay.

My wife and I share this well maintained home and would love to share the pleasure we get from vacationing here on this beautiful island. I am originally from Barbados but currently reside in Canada with my 3 children and 6 grand children. We are both retired and have included this as our second home as we enjoy our hobby of traveling the globe.

We have traveled widely and chose this venue because of its quiet location, its' proximity to all amenities and entertainment and transportation. The grocery store is just 8 minutes walk away and there you can find all the groceries you need. The store shuttle bus will bring you to your doorstep after shopping if required.

Free Wi-Fi and internet is offered and can be enjoyed on the balcony or in the home. A large screen TV with a choice of popular European and North American Channels is also available 24 hrs.

What makes this apartment unique

We fell in love with this property because of its location, friendly neighbourhood, and its closeness to public transportation which could have you in the city within 15 minutes. It is also 10 minutes from the best beaches in the island. It is suitable for a children and for couples young or old. It is our home away from home in Canada.

The property has a porch where you can sit and have a drink, relax with a book, text your jealous friends back home, surf the internet or soak up the sunshine as you sip on your favourite drink.
