Great location to the beach and to local golf courses. Loved Capitola Beach. Easy access to parking and shuttle buses for the US Open. Very enjoyable stay.
I had a very restful and energizing time staying in this cottage. Great neighborhood and safe area. Getting ready to move to Idaho and this spot was perfect for my time. Very comfortable kitchen and living area. TV is a little small, but it has a great picture. I would stay here again.
Cute little cottage
This cottage was very sweet. The sole downside is that the only bathroom is in the main bedroom so if you have two couples sharing, as I did, it was quite awkward to sort out the bathroom situation.
Cute quaint place in an amazing location... but cold.
The proximity to the beach is amazing. This place has potential but the electric heaters we had to set up to keep from freezing are a bit sketchy. The beds are on the low end of the comfort scale.
Perhaps pricing of things is just more expensive here in California, but for less money I’ve stayed in much more comfortable accommodations. I use VRBO very regularly, and usually give 5 star ratings.
Oh, the shower was amazing. Plenty hot and lots of pressure.
I'm glad that you enjoyed being so close to the ocean. I look forward to staying in the little beach house myself for two weeks and will definitely work on improving your issues Thank you.for your comments. Jeanne
The place is very cozy. It’s in a great location
It’s a very cozy place. We were there two nights and would stay again
Charming little cottage by the sea
This was the first VBRO rental for my family and we loved it! The cottage is immaculate and so cozy. It is obvious this is a well-loved property. It had everything we needed, including an adorable kitchen. It is near a quiet cove beach where we watched sea otters swimming near the surfers. At night you can hear the ocean and it eases you into sleep. I hope to come back to stay again and highly recommend it!
Santa Cruz is known for surfing and its historic Beach-Boardwalk, and there is so much more to do here! Within a half hour drive, visit the redwoods, ride the Roaring Camp train through the mountains, go wine tasting, shop in Capitola or at Santa Cruz's unique downtown area, visit the old Spanish mission, eat at unique restaurants, or take a whale watching trip from the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf. Plan a day trip to Carmel and the Monterey Bay Aquarium, 'The City' -- San Francisco -- is two hours north along the coast or through Silicon Valley and the SF bay area. Enjoy exploring!
