About Craig Schriefer
I am a water person and spend much of my time surfing, boating, fishing, and kiteboarding. I am very familiar with the area and can help you get the most from your stay. I can recommend sites, attractions, activities, restaurants, day trips, events, babysitters and more. Just ask and I will be glad to help,

Love it here!
This is our second time renting this house. And we love it. The location, the house, Craig as the owner, you can't beat it. We will be back!
Very Relaxing and Spacious
Craig’s house made everyone in our group of 11 happy. The kids loved fishing off the dock, the adults loved relaxing on the dock and not having to haul everything to the beach every day. We were happy just relaxing there!
We had a wonderful stay at Craig and Mary’s home. The beaches and weather were perfect.
Thanks for your hospitality!

So glad you all enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you again sometime.

Great family get away
This is our 2nd stay and certainly won't be our last. We opened the door and experienced the immediate rush of emotion associated with "coming home" ... we had such fond memories of our previous stay. The sense of familiarity and welcome.
The house has plenty of room to accommodate families of all sizes and ages. We played games, grilled, and took full advantage of the backyard firepit. The kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked at home most nights - low country boil, lobsters, burgers & sausages ... Everything we needed was available to us.
The proximity to downtown York makes it easy to walk to the shops & restaurants. Options abound! Our favorite was Inn at the Blues - fun vibe & great staff. Lobster in the Rough was also highly recommended. York Beach Brewing Company (cornhole!) and Wiggly Bridge Distillery were also great additions to support local business and explore local libations. If you're interested, you can also explore any number of local breweries within an easy drive.
We got kayaks & paddleboards from South Maine Kayaks - Stefan even delivers! - and used them every day. Jumping off the bridge was still a big highlight for all the "kids" in our group.
This house has everything you need to have a great family vacation. We'll be back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. The house is warm and inviting and set on a beautiful property that is super close to anything you need. Craig was welcoming and we are grateful to him for sharing his lovely home!
Wonderful place to vacation with family and friends
Amazing house with amazing dock/river. So fun to paddle board right there! House had more than enough room for all our family and friends. Quick walk to a little beach for small children was perfect. They9the kids) were even able to do the walk into town (about 20 minutes- 30 minutes with small children) which was nice. Craig and his son Ben were super helpful and nice- pleasure to meet them. Really could not ask for anything more! Thank you! We look forward to coming back (and ideally longer!) - The Villalongs, The Temchin-Alfords, The Robinson- Lehners
The Yorks, and Cape Neddick have miles of beautiful beaches , inviting you to relax, surf, fish, play and enjoy. We offer deep sea fishing out of York Harbor, three golf courses, plenty of restaurants and even some night life. The famous Ogunquit Playhouse is just a short drive up route one. There is outlet shopping in Kittery. Historic Portsmouth with is summer theater, concerts and festivals is just over the boarder. Boston, Portland and the White Mountains are all a reasonable drive from here.
There is however plenty to do right here in town and you may never want to leave.
