Clean, Comfortable and Beautifully Appointed

  • 5 of 5

We just returned from an amazing week at this home. We can't wait to return! The home is beautifully decorated, comfortable and spotless. I'm very picky about cleanliness and this home exceeded even my high standards! The location is ideal -- close to Downtown Ogunquit, Marginal Way and Ogunquit Beach (we brought a beach cart and we were able to walk to OB daily). So much is within walking distance -- plus the house is located a short drive or trolley ride to Perkins Cove and also Footbridge Beach. Our family spent days at the beach, surfing, shopping and eating! And at the end of the day this home was ideal to come home to -- we did a puzzle on the porch, grilled out back and listened to music. Beds and linens were comfortable. Kitchen stocked with pots and pans, etc.. Dan was very helpful and responsive via text and email. All-in-all it was our family's most favorite vacation!

Comfortable, Modern, Perfect Location!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I recently stayed here with another couple and our young children. Dan, the owner, was friendly and easy to work with and made arranging our stay a breeze. The house is beautiful and just as described. We had everything we needed to feel at home while enjoying some much needed relaxation. The location is perfect; close to everything yet in a nice quiet neighborhood. It took about 10 minutes to walk or stroll the kids to the center of town and just a few more minutes to reach the beach. One of the days was a bit chillier and we went to a great zoo about a 15 minute drive away in York called York's Wild Kingdom. We had a great week and were sad to leave. I highly recommend this home away from home.

Beautifully decorated, Close walk to town

  • 5 of 5

Arranging for my stay at this beautiful home close to downtown Ogunquit Maine was a breeze. It was easy to find the location just a few streets from town. The screened in porch was the perfect setting for a cup of morning espresso or a lively family dinner in the evening. The kitchen was a social hub as meals were being prepared with a breakfast bar and couch allowing an intimate setting for conversation. The three bedrooms and two full baths allowed everyone to spread out and find a spot of their own. Bathrooms were modern and clean. We really enjoyed the sound system that allowed us to play music throughout the house using a cell phone app. While we chose to drive to the beach some days, it was nice to have the option of traveling by foot. Dan was easy to communicate with for both arranging and asking questions throughout our stay. His suggestions were spot on for the kinds of activities and shops we were looking for on our trip.

A Home Away From Home

  • 5 of 5

On our arrival we found the house to be everything promised and more. The moment we walked in the door we were on vacation. The house is beautiful both inside and out. Beautiful modern amenities...nicer than I have in my own house! Everything was immaculate from the interior to the outdoor landscaping. The furniture and the bedding were extremely comfortable and the décor gives an immediate feeling of comfort and relaxation. Having been both in the summer as well as in the fall I can also say that the neighborhood is very quiet and serene, perfect for relaxing after a long day on the beach or shopping downtown. Just a short drive to downtown, there are many great restaurants, yet you would never even have to go out to eat because the gourmet kitchen is complete with everything you would ever need. Overall our stays here have been like a retreat from life. I have been to many different beaches throughout my life...Cape Cod, Florida, California...but Ogunquit Beach to me is by far the most beautiful place I have been. I have stayed in different hotels in Ogunquit in the past and I am so glad I have found this amazing "home" (because it is not just a house, it is a home). It has been a wonderful treat to be able to stay in this beautiful place while visiting my favorite place. I would recommend this home highly to anyone looking for a very special vacation. I look forward to many happy returns!

Fantastic!

  • 5 of 5

We booked this for the second year in a row. Dan was great and made it easy to book and responds promptly.

The house is immaculate and very comfortable. There is just about everything you need for a Maine vacation. A short walk down hill to the center of town and just about 10 more minutes to the beach. Great! Great! home away from home.

I have already inquired about staying next year!

Beautiful, clean, great location

  • 5 of 5

We came to Ogunquit for a family vacation. Had never been to Maine before. The location is beautiful with gorgeous views and a really nice beach.

The beach house is lovely and just as described. We had 6 in our group and we all slept very comfortably. The house is beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. It was so nice to have all the linens provided and to find it sparkling clean. The house was very welcoming.

We enjoyed coffee on the porch in the morning and also sitting on the back patio. The kitchen was great for making meals and hanging out in. We walked down to town and the beach and the Marginal Way. The walk was fine for us, but if you have a lot of beach gear, you might want to bring one of those rolling carts. We had great weather too, so walking was never an issue at all. The town of Ogunquit is adorable and the beach is very nice as well and you must walk on the Marginal Way and take some fantastic photos.

We also took some day trips to Portland, ME and to Portsmouth, NH. Both are very nice places to visit.

Dan, the owner was great to work with and made everything simple and easy. He responded to all of my inquiries (and there were many!) in a prompt and friendly manner. I would highly recommend this beach house to anyone.

Had a wonderful vacation!!
