This 1 bedroom 1 bath, condo, F249, on the second floor overlooking the beautiful grounds of the Napili Shores resort, and between 2 pools, one with a hot tub, is only steps away as well as the immaculately maintained BBQ grills, right out from our building F's staircase, and only a 2 minute walk to one of Maui's crown jewel beaches.

This condo offers a calm and relaxing get away. It is midway between the the Fish and Poi Restaurant and front desk and the beachside famous Gazebo restaurant. A quiet location, great views, and yet privacy with your drapes open and ocean breezes and the scent of the plumeria trees.

Napili bay offers safe swimming and snorkeling and is rich with tropical fish and ocean life. The ocean beyond the bay is a corridor of travel and a playground for whales, which are often sighted, and the bell on the property is rung! The adjoining bay,

Honokeana, offers a chance to swim with the dolphins, which is their playground.

Join friends at the front pool for a nightly Napili tradition that includes observing the 'Miracle Of The Maui Sunset'!

Why Evelyn Kelly chose Maui

My daughter and I took a trip to Maui and had breakfast at the famous Gazebo restaurant and looked at the room and resort.

A friend has stayed at this resort yearly and has always raved about it.

We were staying in a big concrete name brand resort, where parking was expensive and very far from our room; the walk to the pool was complicated and far; the whole building was very impersonal.

When we walked through this resort, we fell in love with the vintage simplicity and real Hawaii feel. I knew I could live here and feel safe and stress free.

What makes this condo unique

Wonderful for families and children. Great grass area and tree house feel with the high vaulted ceilings and open airy and private lanai

Great Place For A Couple

Celebrated my birthday with my wife for a 12 day stay. A wonderfully relaxing vacation, with Napili Bay a short walk across the grounds and Kapalua Bay a 5 minute drive. Great snorkeling, sunning, and just plain hanging out. The condo is perfect for a couple. We ate our breakfast every morning on the veranda overlooking the grounds with a view of the ocean in the background. Very nice!

The unit lives up to the pictures. there is nothing more relaxing than getting up in the morning and sitting on the lanai enjoying breakfast.

we have been to napili shores resort 5 times we like that its not a high-rise. and that its so relaxing. we highly recommend this unit.

Home Away From Home

My husband and I loved our recent visit to Napili Shores, and especially our stay in this beautifully updated condo. The remodel is lovely! We like the simplicity of decor - very tasteful. Other great take-aways: Very clean; extremely comfortable bed; fabulous shower head and water pressure; nicely appointed kitchen; great flat-screen TV; and even a Brita water pitcher in the fridge which helps save the amount of plastics headed to landfills! The portable fan in the bedroom helped keep the air moving, but also cut down on any noise coming from outside in the evening. The location is ideal for us, and sunrise walks along the coastal trail get our days started on the right note. The Gazebo on the Napili Shores property is a delightful stop for the occasional breakfast or lunch out. We've been coming to West Maui for 25 years, and this particular condo unit is our favorite in the entire complex. Working with the owner is a dream - she's very responsive and helpful. Can't wait to return next year!

Close to everything you'd want

A beautifully decorated condo, but missing some necessities. Such as hand soap, toilet paper, facial tissue, salt and pepper, etc. Otherwise, it's in a great location and close to everything we needed; beach, grocery store, nail salon, boot camp style gym, running trail, amazing shopping in Whaler's Village. Napili Shores is optimal for families with children, we'd highly recommend it!

Owner's Response: It's so good to hear that my guests appreciate the upgraded decor and the great location of my condo and of the resort itself. I am so sorry about them not having enough toilet paper, etc. I do give pre arrival instructions that there is only a "starter" supply of toilet tissue. I've asked my housekeepers to leave more and also to leave salt and pepper and non perishable condiments. Perhaps less frills is made up for in the rate. I feel I've priced my condo as a great value!

Nice property but noise levels are a bit high. On site staff also a bit of a challenge to work with.

We frequent Maui regularly and like to explore different properties in the Napili area. This property was appealing given it's location, large grassy area for the kids and proximity to the bay. We had a great stay (owner was very helpful), unit was updated and spacious enough for a family of 4 w/ two small children. With that said, (and this is true of all buildings here except 4) the master bedroom is next to the parking lot. So when families wake up early to drive south for a whale watch, a scuba trip or drive Hana, those car engines, door ajar bells, etc., you get to hear all of that. So, sleeping in is not an option. Also, one other small gripe...our unit ran out of toilet paper on Christmas. Not many places were open and we were surprised to hear the property manager tell us they couldn't give us any more toilet paper because the unit was privately owned. Very strange and very inconvenient. Outside of those two main issues, the owner was very helpful before the booking, the property was well cared for. I would stay at Napili Shores again but opt for something away from the parking areas.

Owner's Response: I'm so glad this family enjoyed the great property of the Napili Shores Resort and the amenities and quality of my condo. This Outrigger Resort doesn't provide any stocking of the independent owner's condos but I have asked my housekeepers to leave more toilet paper in the future. As far as the parking lot, all the condos back up to the parking, except the ocean view condos, which are mostly studio condos and almost twice as expensive. In the condos facing the ocean, guests have to walk a ways to the parking lots, not easy in and out access. The coming and going can be an issue, but I don't recall any other complaints in the 4 years I've owned this condo, and most guests are considerate of others. The good part is the easy access to parking, right outside the condo. My hope is that my guests feel they have received a great value for choosing this condo!
